I started Cryptonomicon finally (so much Stephenson I haven't read yet either), but I might put that off for now, a) because I need to read Barry Hughart's Bridge of Birds to take part in a conversation some other friends are having, and b) it's Jan/Feb which is Gothic Project time. So far I've read Clara Reeves' The Old English Baron, which was only ok, but I'm starting William Beckford's Vathek, which is promising to be gloriously over-the-top.
Geez, I need to update my Good Reads account, now that I think of it.
