About meWrite occasionally for journals on subjects that interest me, from wilderness missionaries to upper-class tent camping to Civil War veterans. My second book, "Lily, Duchess of Marlborough (1854--1909: A Portrait with Husbands" (a subject I stumbled upon when writing an earlier book about vernacular church architecture) was published in late 2011.

About my libraryEclectic reading tastes, but tend toward non-fiction and often have something to do with social history.
