Oh thank you! I have to say that in large part is why I haven't been on LT too much lately- all the planning.
As far as having to put a book down because of getting scared- believe me it happens often! It's kind of ironic because the book I had to put down the most was IT, the one your getting ready to start again. Glad to hear you liked Bones, it was my favorite next to the Dark Tower Series. I would only read that though when you can devote a lot of time to reading because that series can consume you.... lol.
Have you heard of The Long Walk, he wrote it under Bachman, but it has the same type of writing as Tom Gordon to me.
Wow- it has been awhile! I haven't been on LT in like 2 weeks so it was nice to hear from you. I loved Tom Gordon and if you did I'm sure you'll like Pet Semtary. You should give Bag of Bones a chance too, I loved it.
So glad to hear that you'll be starting Tom Gordon soon.....you have read Gerald's Game haven't you? Another great story.

I live right smack dab in the middle of Missouri. My town is actually very small but I live near a larger one called Rolla. It's about 100 miles away from St. Louis. So we go there for everything that we need.

The beach huh? I don't think I could live by one because I would never leave it. I'm a 'fish' I love to be in the water. I was a lifeguard for six years and every free weekend I have I'm down at the Missouri River floating or reading a book at the sand bar. (Which I'm sure isn't half as beautiful as your ocean view).
Sorry it has taken so long to respond! So you have been to the states? Which ones? You're right about Missouri for the most part, it's pretty where I live, but not everywhere. So how about where you live? Is it warm, cold, mountanous, flat? I know very little about Italy, I'll be honest!! I do know that the best food in the world comes from there....
Let me know what you think about The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon. If you're a science ficiton reader, I would definetly say read the Dark Tower series. There are seven in all, and the first one is a little dry so you'll have to give it some time, but by the end of the second beginning of the third you won't want to put it down.
I see you have read a couple of his works. The Dark Tower Series is amazing, but it's nothing like the books of his you have read. It has more science fiction elements in it (I hope that doesn't turn you off). HOwever, next to Bag of Bones the DT are my favorites (I got a tattoo from the book on my ankle). I would recommend you reading a couple more of his books before journeying into the world of Roland. I think you might enjoy The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon.

I see you're from Italy, what part? I've never been to Europe, but I hope to one day and from what I hear Italy is beautiful (I really want to see Greece).
I'm glad you enjoyed Bag of Bones! It's my favorite book. Have you read any more Stephen King?
