I had to search through my bookshelves to find something about China ( and Asia) and its culture. Here is what I found:
"Tao te ching: some taoistic writings" (in Norwegian)
"The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying" by Sogyal Rinpoche (in English)
"The Vision of Buddha" by Tom Lowenstein (in English)
"World Mythology" (one chapter about China) by Roy Willis (in English)
"Eastern Wisdom: Hinduism, Buddhism, Confutsianism, Daoism, Shintoism" by C. Scott Littleton (in Norwegian).
Are any of these books familiar to you, and IF they are: What do you think about them?
You will find the books in my library under the tag 'religion'
kik.
PS: I'll first read "The Vision of Buddha" and then "Eastern Wisdom"

Thank you so much for your info. Very interesting and exciting. And I also love your brief and informative comments on your books. You've added 7 more books recently, I can see. Do you know how many there will be when you've finished catalogueing?
By the way: Do you think buddhism a religion or a philosophy?
kik :)

Thanks for connecting me to your friends on LibraryThing. I see you really are a NEW member here, and I guess that's the reason why you've catalogued only six books. Or? And it looks like your books are written by Chinese authors. Is that correct? I'll rather watch your profile later on if you don't mind.
With kind regards
kik :-))
