About meThe name is Wes, I am a Technology Support Analyst at a University in rural NC. My job duties are diverse and vary from server administration and programming to more mundane customer support issues. I have been a free software advocate for many years and I am a card carrying Free Software Foundation member.

My academic background is in computer science and philosophy. I have considered myself a Taoist for sometime and continue to try and study philosophy when I have the time. I also have more than a passing interest in ethics and political philosophy which tends flare up now and then.

I like to play all kinds of games, board games, card games, video games and pen and paper RPGs. It is not impossible you will see something of this sort pop up on this site from time to time.

About my libraryThese are all books that I own.. because often I cant part with books, especially books I like. ALSO all the covers are accurate even if the editions may not be. I get kinda sentimental about the covers of certain books. Most of these are books I like, although a few slip into my possession that I do not like.
