Hi,

Was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Saw you liked Paris Trout, and thought you might like my novel since it's also southern and a bit dark (in the same vein as Paris Trout). I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Thanks,

I think it's simply entitled, Books. I saw an ad for it in a magazine I think. I've not gotten it, either.
We corresponded a few times about Larry McMurtry and I was wondering if you've gotten his memior?
Filth was.... Filthy! hehe. I enjoyed it but I'm a fan of Welsh's. I liked his followon to Trainspotting, Porno, better than Filth but thought both were good.
Thanks for your message. It's good to have you on the Radio 3 Group. I hope that you will contribute from time to time. Happy listening!
Yes, I read the whole series of four (collectively known as "The Emigrants"), especially now that I live in Sweden. A movie made from the series with Liv Ullman in it. I visited the Emigrant Museum in southern Sweden and have toured Gothenberg, the port from which 1 million Swedes emigrated, at a time when Sweden contained 4 million souls.
Best wishes,
Ron

Thanks for stopping by my library. It's always nice to have visitors. I notice that you've got Somerset Maugham's Of Human Bondage listed in your library. Have you ever read The Razor's Edge? I was just commenting about that book at another site. It is one of my all-time favs.

What did you think of McMurtry's Telegraph Days? The only thing I've read of his is Lonesome Dove.
