About meI am an elementary school teacher who just finished my Masters in History. And my most important job is that as mom of two boys.

About my libraryIn 2008 I was curious about how many books I read in a month and a year so I decided to use Library Thing to keep track of what I had read. I don't list the books I own -I just use it as a sort of book log.
I love historical nonfiction and fiction. I tend to read lots of books on pedagogy and "junk books" whenever I can eek out the time.

I am so glad you like my timeline! It really helps me remember what other things were happening in the world at the same time as a book I'm reading (or have read).

I just have a free account on Timeglider, but it looks like new free accounts are now limited to students. Hmm.

I don't think it took me that long to get my information in. But I kept changing my mind about how I wanted the items to look (color, size, etc.) so editing each item with each change took the most time. Now that I've settled into the style it doesn't take long at all to add new books.

Let me know if you set one up. I'd love to take a peek!
Yes, I am the new hire at CSU-P. Do you live in Pueblo?
I see you've read "Incident in the Life of a Slave Girl." I love, love that book. It's simply unforgettable.
