About me Mathematician/engineer, reader, book-o-holic.

About my library I tend to read mostly science fiction and fantasy, with some diversions into mystery and nongenre fiction (a very little nonfiction). A lot of the time I tend towards the rather obscure edges of SF though, rather than its center, reading a lot of small press books and stuff labeled as "slipstream" or "new weird" or whatever you will, enjoying the quirky and inventive.

I also read a lot of comics / graphic novels, though again more of the comparatively obscure and strange stuff (often small press) than the big superhero comics.

I've only entered into LT the books I own and have read. This ignores the maybe 400-500 unread books on my shelves which I honestly intend to get to some day. However, my reading speed is not so great that this can be simply accomplished, barring a cutoff on future purchases (which isn't going to happen). So time will tell how long some of those will sit.
