About meI've been a Community Organizer in the Bronx most of my life. I am now the Director of a crisis center, where we help over 1,000 families a year with eviction and foreclosure prevention, hunger etc.

I am currently working to develop a program called Neighbors helping Neighbors to train community folks to address the needs and provide support to their neighbors during the hard times.

I am the mother of 4 sons, grandmother of 5. In my spare time (such that it is) I am a working artist - media: photography, drawing, and some crafts. I also love word puzzles.

About my libraryLarge and varied --

non-fiction primarily includes: art, crafts of all sorts, politics, history, sociology, linguistics.

Fiction - all sorts, but like historical fiction best
