About me I'm a husband, father of two boys, and pastor-in-training in the PCA (graduate, ThM, Dallas Seminary, 2006).
I'm a private pilot and enjoy flying more than just about any other past-time. I'm inactive for now due to insufficient funds! I also scuba dive and sail. When I'm not reading professionally, I am usually reading history (of any sort...right now it's mostly ancient Greek history like Herodotus) or watching European or world soccer.
About my library I own all the titles in my LT library. I manage my "wishlist" using amazon.com. You can see my wishlist items by visiting http://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/wishli... .
I've finished entering my pastoral library. However, I add volumes frequently, so there will be more to come. I've also finished entering my personal (nonprofessional) library. But of the buying of books there is no end, so all of my libraries will continue to grow. My personal library consists mostly of classic lit and history (ancient, world and US...I love all of it). Right now I'm reading mostly classical history and trying to navigate some translation work in Herodotus. Amongst all this there is also some philosophy, and of course, all the Harry Potter books.
I'm on LT primarily to organize and catalog my library...to avoid purchasing duplicates, and to provide the insurance company a list of my precious possessions in case of fire (am I the only bibliophile worried about fire?). This also provides my local friends (and fellow pastors in particular) easy access to a list of books from which they might borrow if necessary.
Thanks for stopping by. Feel free to ask questions if something piques your interest!
