Description:
In the Monograph Acquisitions department of the Graduate Library, I run an abbreviated copy-cataloging procedure against new books purchased for the school libraries and museums.

About my libraryMostly sci-fi and manga and Japanese reference. Only consists of books I actually own. I did graduate with a B.A. in English Lit so I've read way more than what I own. In some ways I wish I'd kept all my textbooks from college, but you have to be independently wealthy for that.

I also have a rather amusing and varied collection of music.

Since you asked, I'm letting you know how Writing E-mails in Japanese 日本語Eメールの書き方 is. It's basically examples of letters covering a wide range of correspondence possibilities. For each situation they give you a page full of stock lines of varying degrees of politeness that you can substitute into the structure of the form letter to get the effect that you want. It assumes that it is your first time writing an email in Japanese so it delineates all the parts of a letter, but there is only an occasional explanation of phrase choice so you need to supplement your keigo and teineigo elsewhere. It glosses words occasionally at the bottom of the page, but there is no centralized glossary which is a detriment if you are not familiar with business words and kanji and don't have a dictionary on hand. Once it glosses a word it doesn't use furigana for the rest of the book, which isn't very helpful in a book that isn't really meant to be read from cover to cover.

Overall the level of language and kanji is early-intermediate, with the exception of business vocabulary. I don't think it would be very useful for you except in being sure you're formatting an email correctly.
The book (Writing E-mails in Japanese 日本語Eメールの書き方) is actually one of the course materials for a Japanese for Business class that I've just begun. I'll let you know how useful and readable it turns out to be.
