About meMy main interests are children's literature and children's literature scholarship. I am particularly interested in the history of the child in literature, e.g how it is manipulated or utilized and how this changes with changes in narration.

About my libraryMy favorite contemporary children's authors are Philip Pullman and Cornelia Funke, but my favorite children's writer ever (if I want to get child-like about things) has to be J. M Barrie. The three writers probably indicate my rather traditionalist taste in these things. I prefer a little magic in my story.
