Wow that's a little spooky because I borrowed Fahrenheit 451 from the library 3 weeks ago, but had to return it before I could read it since I went away and didnt want to get overdue fees.

I intend to re-borrow it soon!

Hi Serina,

If you're on the hunt for fantasy, probably my first reccomendation would be the Witches of Eileanan series by Kate Forsyth.
The series is probably my favourite fantasy series ever and easily on the list of my top 5 favourite books.
Since the author is female, most of the strong characters are female and the general tone of the books are slightly 'girly' (in a good way!) it seems to appeal to girls more than guys.

Kate Forsyth is Australian too!
