About meI am an English teacher in Hoopeston, IL. I am teaching Junior English, Honors Junior English, and one section of Senior English. This is my third year teaching, but my first in the Hoopeston area. I also just moved from the middle school level to high school. If you have any suggestions for what high school students are reading, especially upper level male readers, I would love to hear suggestions. I am constantly adding to my library. I like to think my library is the largest in the school. I'm the only Junior English teacher- so that doesn't take much.

About my libraryThe library on this website is my classroom library. I am working to expand what I have. My ideal library would be books across the entire back wall. Right now, I'm halfway there. A special thanks goes out to my best friend, who is in school as a young adult librarian. She keeps me updated on what is new. I'm always looking for suggestions

My interests include fantasy, especially dragons and princesses. I LOVE young adult literature and I can talk about it for hours. I also enjoy reading the classics- it must be the English teacher in me. I am willing to read anything, because it might offer a suggestion to one of my students who is looking for a book.
