About meI love to immerse myself in a good novel, however I'm equally passionate about learning new things. I often challenge myself by studying subjects to improve my understanding of things which have captured my interest, or subjects which will enhance the work I do.
I have a great family and work in a wonderful, family friendly church which keeps me on my toes. I find myself continually being stretched in order to stay relevant, not allowing myself to become a dinosaur in this age of ever changing technology.

About my libraryI have recently thinned out my library greatly in order to accommodate new built in book shelves. My library is now small and made up of mostly christian novels, christian study books for courses which I have taken. Books of interests like Dr Caroline Leafs books written about the brain. Some early childhood texts, a few on counselling, abuse, and others relating to work.
I have purchased several books through iBook, several novels by Francine River, The Shack, The Hobbit, God and the Hobbit, Tolkien's letters plus many others. Even though I have enjoyed them and it was the most convenient way to take books on a trip my husband and I took through Europe, I feel let down in that I can't put them in my book shelves or lend them to friends.
