About meI live in Massachusetts, near Boston. Born in West Africa, lived mostly in New England with stints in the midwest and East Africa. I've worked most of my adult life in public libraries, a job and calling I truly love. Two kitties, or four, depending on how you look at it. One grown daughter, with a delightful fiance. Wedding soon! One wonderful seventeen-year-old stepson. College soon! Ex-husband also wonderful.

About my libraryI moved a year ago and winnowed my books down to about 30 boxes. Not an easy task, but neither was moving. Lots of children's books, gardening, cookbooks, books about Africa, field guides, favorite fiction and almost as much favorite nonfiction. So glad Novelist is starting to do nonfiction.
