About meSimon, female to male transsexual, parent to a 15 year old, way too many interests, and love talking to people and making friends here and elsewhere online.

I am somewhere on the Aspergers/high functioning autism spectrum, regularly get totally involved in learning one or two new things to the exclusion of most other things (including eating if no one reminds me). I don't go out very much, so most of my social life is online, and I"m always open to meeting new people who share some of my many interests. I am open to friends adding me to IM programs (as above), but please, the first time you pop in tell me where you found me, and if it was here, your Librarything user name.
My primary online 'hobby' is Livejournal, which is at http://www.livejournal.com/userinfo.bml?user=xxasimont It's a good place to visit to find out what my interests are, and lots of other stuff.

About my libraryThere are a LOT of books in my library, both fiction and non fiction, but I'm a fast reader so I'm always looking for more books, different authors who write in genre I like, so if you have any reccomendations please leave me a message.

Yes, your copy of the book is not under Daniel Gross any more. Thanks.
Hi,
the problem with Daniel Gross is that there's two of them, and they have been combined into one. I want to separate them but the only way to do that seems to be if everyone owning a book, assingns it to the right author. If your book is assigned to Daniel R, than we should be ok. I'll find out how to separat them.

If you go to the author page, you can see that there's books about anthrolpology and books about business.

Christine
Hi,
you have a book "Discovering Anthropology", but as the author you mention Daniel Gross, the Slate columnist. Your book is written by Daniel R Gross, the anthropologist. Can you please change that, so we can separate both authors?
Thanks!

Christine
Hi again, Simon. Sorry I've been very busy lately--that's why I've taken forever to reply. Anyhow, I do have a Livejournal profile/username but it's been several months since I've used it. Thank you for your LJ username. My username is vegan_lucky_3

Take care!
Hi! I have Asperger's Syndrome too. I love neurodiversity. Anyhow, feel free to check out my catalog--even though I'm a brand new member. :)
Hay there,

Was just browsing LT books and profiles and came across yours.

I've been posing this question to LT members (you don't have to respond, but I'm always curious to know what people choose and why):

If you were stranded on a desert island, and had only 5 books to take with you, which ones would you pick? :-)

My picks are on my profile.

Cheers! :-)

i find it so crazy that with all the books we both have we don't share one! :)
