About meI'm 25 and have pretty much worked at book stores for as long as I've been employed. You may notice I like to collect manga. I've got a separate user account (ConnieJo) that has my other books, comics, and miscellaney, though I'm still not finished entering everything there.

About my libraryI've been collecting manga for around 10 years. I've got a lot, mostly because I can't bear to stop buying a series once I start, no matter how much I may hate it. I also can't bear to part with any of it. I compulsively write up reviews every time I read a volume, and those are all at Slightly Biased Manga.

Nothing wrong with the middleman, and there are some great deals. I stopped with the group I had because they were suddenly saying I lost auctions then I would see them on ebay with my item at a much higher price. I have friends who use a shared account with their middleman and so they wait until there is a decent amount of stuff before shipping it.
Yeah, most of Ikeda's manga has been put in the Aizoban size. I wish I had the Orpheus and Ekaterina sets.

The Oniisama E... volume I got about 10 years ago with the rest of that particular set from Yahoo! Japan Auctions, before everyone else discovered it and Y!JA made it harder for people outside of Japan to bid. It's pretty common on there if you don't mind going through a middleman...I just wish they didn't charge so much for their services.
Nice to see someone on here with a wide variety of manga genres in their list, especially in older titles. I'll have to check out your reviews to find some recommendations.
Hi again *wave*

Yeah, Let Dai is awesome but I'm trying to cut down on my manga addiction so I've stopped ordering all the copies I can get my hands on for the moment, lol. I think I've read your reviews (slightly biased manga ...?) and got into a lot of my favourite series through that actually :D

Wow, I remember reading Thirsty ages ago - the ending really killed me, isn't it so sad? I mean, amazing but sad. I've read Feed too, have you? MT Anderson is a pretty cool writer, I know, but he seems unable to end his books on a happy note >.
Hi, I just added you as a friend because i love your collected of manga :)
See you around :)
Thanks for the info on the New Bride of Deimos. For now I'm going to keep it on my wishlist along with the first series. I was kind of hoping it was a retelling or a reissue so I could just buy the one volume only. I'd like to buy them all right now but I need to stop buying so many books! I need to do more reading and less browsing. >_
Hey, thanks for adding me as a friend!

I've got a question for you though. I noticed that you added the new Bride of Deimos manga recently. Do you know if it's a continuation of the previous series or is a brand new series? I read all of the volumes that were available in English, but it was never finished here. I'd like to buy the original series, but YesAsia doesn't carry it and Amazon Japan's shipping rates are insane.

Thanks for any info!

Shannon
Great to meet you! Thanks for accepting my friendship. I'm looking forward to checking out your library and I hope you enjoy mine.
Woo, found your collection through your review blog, and find we have a lot in common. You are much better than I am about actually reading what you've collected, however. :)

I too have a review site, at www.flaminggeeks.com/swanjun, if you're at all inclined to check it out.
Your collection is Awesome and I am very jealous!!!
I love the variety.
Thanks, I liked From Eroica, but I haven't been able to find a lot of it around here, will have to search for the others! -Rob
You're so cool! I really enjoy your manga blog and I'm happy to find somebody whose tastes run the gamut from josei to horror like me... although my collection probably doesn't reflect that fact (yet). Since you know so much more about manga than I do, and since you've reviewed TONS of stuff on your site, I wish you would do a few more best-of lists like your "Top Series" list. Top Shonen, Top Shojo, Top Josei, Top Horror, Top Seinen... that would be awesome.

Anyhow, keep up the good work!
Any manga recommendations you think people might generally miss? -Rob
