About me30 year old, voracious reader without enough time to read all I want. I'm a traveler at heart, longing for the days I read ~350 books in ~ one year. I read primarily non-fiction but when pressed, will read almost anything with words. Current interests include: fitness, diet and weight loss, football and travel writing.

I added a number of "also on" but if you find an SKingList or a Travellingcari anywhere, odds are it's me :)

About my librarySlowly adding my library: mostly previous reads but gotten to the point that it's equally TBR due to limited reading time. Add new acquisitions as they arrive. Don't think I'll go back to add everything -- I find myself wanting to review but not recalling sufficient details to do so.

Hi, thanks for the offer. Please don't give up any of your points. I appreciate the offer, but I should be giving some points to charity, not you. I do indeed have a bunch of points and you have reminded me of a great way to use them. Thanks,

Kasey
Hi, I just read your comment on my review of the bar book. I have not hated a book with that intensity in a long time, so it's good to know there are kindred spirits out there!
Message 71 in the Pimp Your Inventory, where people post extra books to send :)
http://www.librarything.com/topic/97748
The Nanny has arrived! I will reserve it for you very shortly. Also check out the Pimp you Inventory Thread as I am doing a small purge. :)
I appreciate the offer for the Number book, but I'm not interested enough in it right now.

She has emailed back saying it will take until August for the book.. is that ok?
Happy to help! I now have the song from 'The Nanny' stuck in my head.. erg! :P
Oh,Oh. Pretty soon, they'll have a TBR like ours; piles and piles that grow and grow. Not that it's a bad thing. ;^)
I'll go and list them now and plan on sending directly to you.
Hi. I found two Cornwell's at the thrift yesterday, "Black Notice" and "Trace". If you want those two, let me know and I'll throw in some others they might like.

Kasey
Hi friend. There is a BM member named "Faro" who has a 4 for 1 paperback deal going with quite a few Lisa Jackson and Erica Spindler titles. Those would probably suit your aunt.
Kasey
Also, it just occured to me that they might have part of a series and would like to find missing books for it. If so, let me know...I can watch for them at sales and the thrift.
Kasey
OK, I filled a box with women authors, or men with women protagonists. If you would mooch these three, we'll call it good:

Lisa Gardner - The Killing Hour
Julie Smith - Mean Woman Blues (a great series, but order doesn't matter that much
P.J. Parrish - A Thousand Bones

I usually can pick up Evanovich books at my thrift; I'll keep a lookout; they always go on BM if you end up not wanting them.
The box is packed and will go this week sometime.
Kasey
How about I put together about nine with a 3/1 deal. I'll pick ones they might like. Let me know.
Yeah, I'm really sorry. I left you a message on the pimp thread, but anyway, I should have reserved them for you. Shoot!. There is still the Lisa Gardner, a Jonnie Jacobs, Jilliane Hoffman, ond others. Will the ladies read any male authors. Have some good ones.
So sorry it was still in my inventory so I thought I had another one.
Oh shoot it just went out.Try one of the Lisa Gardners they are really good!
Yes, I'm a King fan from WAAYYYY back. I started reading him on a vacation at the beach one year. And can I just say that reading Cujo alone in a tent in the dark with just a flashlight is a horrifying experience! I stopped reading him for awhile when he started to get a little weird with the whole Turtle thing but came back with Bag Of Bones. What's your favorite one?
"I chuckled when I saw: Raamatullinen vuosi : yhden miehen nöyrä yritys noudattaa Raamattua mahdollisimman kirjaimellisesti by A. J. Jacobs in our shared books. I presume that's "The Year of Living Biblically"?"

Indeed it is. It's the full title (direct translation: "Biblical year : one man's humble attempt to follow the Bible as literally as possible").

It's an interesting book - I thought it would be a fun read, but actually it was a lot more thoughtful than I expected.
Hi dude! Welcome to the dark side!
Welcomewelcomewelcome! It's a whole new way to be obsessed with books!
Since I still haven't found a good way of finding groups (the search never seems to return the group I'm looking for): http://www.librarything.com/groups/bookcrossingaustrali

But it's a GOOD thing that it's hard to find groups, or I'd be spending all my life chatting here with other book nerds. ;)
Welcome aboard! Have fun adding books, or just pottering about. There's an Australian BookCrossers group that I'm sure you'll be welcome to join, as an honourary Aussie. :)
