About meYou can probably tell more about me by looking at my library than by reading a bio.

About my libraryNowhere near as large as I'd like it to be, but I'm trying to keep it within the confines of a 1br flat. So far I've catalogued most of my fiction and about half of my non fiction, I guess. I imagine I'll come in around 800 books, which seems like hardly any at all. Wah! I need to get rich so I have more room for books.

Notes on tags:

My "want" tag is not really a general wishlist -- it's more specifically for items which I really *should* have but for some reason don't. For instance, if I have two books of a trilogy, I'll put the third one in as "want" for completeness.

The "purged" tag is for books which I used to own but which got triaged during one of my international moves. I've added some here because otherwise my "suggestions" list keeps showing books that I used to own but don't any more. Often the purged books are ones that I quite liked, but which I didn't re-read in years, and which are pretty easily available in mass market pb if I happened to want to replace them later.

Could have or should have? I apologize if I have inadvertently blundered over some matter of netiquette. In the comfort of my own home I do make an effort to look before asking however I recently learned the hard way not to attempt livejournal on my work computer (LibraryThing has the advantage of bookstore camouflage). :)

Thank you for the link - it's a great help to me.
Is that story still online somewhere? My computer went FUBAR a couple months back and I lost all my bookmarks. I am fairly certain I originally read it on livejournal but I can't remember which community...

If you could point me to where it was posted I would really love to re-read that story. Thanks.
Hello! Wandered over here because you're at the top of all my 'similar libraries' lists. I've been wracking my brain trying to figure out why your name is familiar. Did you once write a long story about Archie and Edrington?

Er, if you have no clue what I'm talking about then...um, look over there! Turtles!
Hey! Fancy meeting you here.

Oooh, another Heyer fanatic. I'm only (I think) seven titles short of owning everything she published. Have you read any of her mysteries?

And Sayers... isn't Lord Peter the best?

Can't wait to get a paid account and really get serious about uploading.
