About meI'm a Children's Library Assistant, and Mum of two young sons who keep me running. I'm also a part-time graduate student working on my master's degree in Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois. My personal time is at a premium, and I spend it reading or looking for the next great read.

Did you actually receive Schooled? I snagged it for June but it hasn't arrived yet. I see that the author posted some inflammatory comments against the reviews on amazon ... she's since deleted them. Yikes.
A word about Demille's The Gold Coast -- it's more an homage to The Great Gatsby than a typical DeMille thriller ... combine its 500+ pages with a v-e-r-y leisurely pace and you're getting the idea. But it is a nice biography of that area of Long Island (NY), and it's laugh-out-loud funny in places. I'm a big DeMille fan and got very bold and asked the publisher directly for an arc of his follow-up, The Gate House ... I was over the moon when I got it! That's the next big book on my list (after The Poisonwood Bible, which I've almost finished), I'm trying to read one of my looooong books every month.

I can't actually remember what brought me to your library, sorry!! It may have been that I was looking for a specific book and you were one of the people that has it. Isn't Librarything fascinating! I continually request books from my local library now!! They must be getting fed up with me! lol But I keep them in a job! Just received Ben Okri's book 'The Famished Road' off ebay today. But I have about 5 books in a pile to read first. I only manage to read about 2 books a week, depending on size of course. What are you reading just now?
I'm glad you find my little kitty cute! She's bigger now but she's just so gorgeous. Spoiled rotten and a feisty little madam!!
Well, I'll go for now. Maybe catch up with you again soon. I hope you and your loved ones are all well.
Kind regards
Kate

"The Book Thief" is already delivering on originality and emotion, both of which are high on my list of what makes a good read. Feels wonderful to be in a book I can't wait to get back to!

Just wondering if you still have Sophie Kinsella, Remember Me, or Certain Girls by Jennifer Weiner.
I would be interested in purchasing both from you.
Please let me know
