Hello Jon, Thanks for your reply. Well, I thought I was the old and cranky one he he!

I gave 'Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee...' five stars! Yes, it's a little hard going in places but it's a description of historical events. Sorry to hear you couldn't finish it.

I gave 'Ring of Bright Water' five stars too. I can understand some of the later books in the series getting a lower rating but I enjoyed this, and thought the film good.

Glad to hear you aren't going all American on me!

Hello, You have many interesting books in your Library, and we share a fair few. You seem hard to please though judging by your book ratings! What's with the use of the American term 'Alternate' on your tags instead of Alternative or are you American/Canadian (just wondering)?
