I gave 'Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee...' five stars! Yes, it's a little hard going in places but it's a description of historical events. Sorry to hear you couldn't finish it.
I gave 'Ring of Bright Water' five stars too. I can understand some of the later books in the series getting a lower rating but I enjoyed this, and thought the film good.
Glad to hear you aren't going all American on me!
