About meI look like a Ukranian lesbian after a week-long meth binge.

About my library153.5 x 72 x 30 cm. 0.33 m³ or 330 liters. An open structure of light brown, wood-like substance. If you're an acute visualizer like I'm not, you can easily see that my rickety bookshelf does not have adequate space even for my below average sized library. Indeed, already a good third of it lies around on my precious few tables and other hitherto uncluttered planes.

On a vaguely related note, I recently faced the future and bought this thingamabob for reading ebooks (or at least capable of viewing ebooks) and downloaded every remotely interesting ebook I could get for free. That made about 13, plus some odds and ends I couldn't bother listing here. I've yet to read any of them of course so there's nothing to write about. But...stay tuned?

Great review of DFW's essay collection. I'm going through it right now, after putting it off for much too long because of them being essays and all, but damn, easy-going and -flowing stuff. I love it.

And your icon...that's clever.
Noticed you liked Out by Natsuo Kirino, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here, as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also gritty, a bit violent, and a bit dark :) I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter) in case you'd like to read more about the novel before you commit.

Thanks,

Really enjoyed your review of Apathy. Also enjoyed your About Me above!
Hi snykanen, I just read your review/commentary on Infinite Jest and I'm just cheering for you, Dude! It's wonderful to get that memory jolt of ESBE (Earth Shattering Book Experience)once again. Thanks so much for witing it!

Saw you liked Trainspotting, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here (as well as on a few other book-related sites). Thought you might like it since it's also about a group of disturbed kids and a bit dark. I'd be glad to e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

What a great review you posted of Infinite Jest. I have not read it, but your review certainly helps. Thank you.
