i see you have 'love in the time of cholera' in your library. what are your thoughts on this work? i find the idea of 'magical realism' that is often attributed to marquez is misplaced - he writes in a less formal way which is seen as 'evocative' and 'magical' to our western way of seeing things.

do you like to eat yo-yo biscuits? oooh 2nd hand books, what did you buy and from where? i went for a civilised sunday drive to inman valley with the parents today. worked on purchase proposals and thinking about the display report due friday. we're to buy an Apple Mac, i-Book AND BROADDDDDDBBBBBBBAAAAAAAND!!!!!!! tomorrow. :D

buenos tardes. what are your reading right now? i've just started a book, josephine : a life of the empress by carolly erikson, about her upbringing in martinique and then becoming a joint ruler of the french empire and so on. i noticed you have some of viggo mortensen's works in your library! remember how we were giggling about his spoken word poetry in one of jane or adele's tafe classes, about when we were both LOTR crazy, back in 2001-3!

dear sonja. i ahd a very lazy day today... i stayed in bed till 1pm, then i got up and went to the movies to see bridges to terebithia. it was AWESOME!!!!! oh my god! then i came home and now im back in bed with my electric blanket on! i love life. still the walking trail isnt done yet though... dang!

Ah you reminded me of assignments! Been slogging away with last week's exercises for my favourite subject (guess) and pondering some life situations...think about what were talking about last Wednesday....there's no morning class tomorrow I think, but Circ Services test...yummy. :P

Angus & Robertsons are have a 'Crazy Clearance' type sale...mmm books. I've added to my catalogue a few books from parent's library I've read. Noticed Kira has begun hers - frightening some of the cheap horror books I read in primary school - The Babysitter! The Babysitter 2!! :P
