About meNot nearly as cheerful as I may seem in the photo. Plus I'm never without my geek glasses.

I'm doing a 75 Book Challenge.

About my libraryRather eclectic, no?

Please ignore my chaotic tags.

My abbreviated rating system:
***** -- Pry it from my death grip (usually reference).
*** -- OK. Readable. Sufficient. Mediocre.
1/2 -- I had recurring nightmares after the infliction.

Noticed you liked The Glass Castle, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a dysfunctional family and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter) in case you'd like to learn a little more about the book before you commit:

Very sorry to report that the Dictionary has been rejected, reason given 'I can no longer find it'. I have given negative feedback. Please let me know if there is anything else I can angel for you ever.
Just to let you know that I did request the Dictionary and I have just now sent a reminder for it but if I don't get a response, how hard would you like me to chase it and how long would you like me to wait? I'm perfectly happy to continue to chase it up and keep it requested, its entirely up to you.
I saw on the book owner's pending requests that he's already sent the book! I'm so glad :)

Also just wanted to leave you a post here so you'd know who to tell when the book (Dream Catcher) arrives. Thanks again!

One was sent to me by a friend in Israel and another was sent to me by a friend in northern Europe (For the life of me I cannot remember which country, Finland or Denmark perhaps). I believe that any of them can be purchased from Amazon though.

It is cool reading them in another language, although the translation is not good. I think they were translated too quickly. Too be honest I've forgotten so much Russian at this point that I don't believe I could read them now. This is actually a good reminder for me that I need to brush up again :-)
