About meMarried man (to a woman - I'm old-fashioned that way). Collector of movie memorabilia, scale model cars, nostalgic kitsch and of course, books. Love my wife, animals, movies, reading, tattoo's, music, car culture, lowbrow movement art, pop surrealism, Formula One, and baseball. Five kids, none of the human variety.

About my libraryMany of my books are for reference; ALL of them are for pleasure. I used to save every single book and magazine I came across. Now I contribute the less favorite one's to libraries for fund-raising and prisons to keep the inmates minds occupied. I'll always buy books when they catch my interest, although they may not get read for quite some time. It's one of the simple joys in my life; to go through my collection when looking for information or just another "good read" to get lost in when the mood strikes.
