About meI'm an avid and versatile reader with a wide range of interests, including fiction and non-fiction. I can hang with the best of them to discuss high-brow books but I'm known to hang out with Stephanie Meyers-types as well. My two children are also avid readers and I frequently read what they are reading--it's a responsibility and a privilege. I've worked in the book publishing space for over 10 years on the technology/web side.

Hi, We share a lot of the same books and I saw you liked Nick Hornby (About a Boy). You should try A Long Way Down, also by Nick Hornby....it is fantastic to listen to on CD too since the 4 voices in the story are read by 4 different people. I have listened to it several times and also read it. Very good read.
Noticed you liked She's Come Undone, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a disturbed young girl's downward spiral and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:
