About meMy PASSION is preaching Christ and Him crucified; my HOPE is the future glory of His presence; my LIFE is the pleasure and joy of giving Him glory; and my one PURSUIT is the revival of Christians everywhere to the majesty and the wonder and the glory and beauty of God in the face of our precious Saviour Jesus Christ.
About my libraryMy library contains an odd assortment of books - the majority of them have been passed on to me [books, for example, by Brunner and Barclay that I would have never purchased for myself]. Many of these books I do not endorse in whole or even in part. Arminius' works, for example, are opposed to the doctrines of grace that I have come to know and love. I do not endorse them, but I find it helpful to familiarize myself with them [at least in part]... There are, however, books that I refuse to own or even read: these are books espousing the heretical teachings of the 'prosperity gospel', and/or books written by hyper-dispensationalists [ie. Mr. Hagee]. Spurgeon once said, “I do not care to read books opposed to the Bible, I never want to wade through mire for the sake of washing myself afterwards.” Those are wise words from a wise and godly man.
