Excellent "mini-review" of The Game of Kings by Dunnett. Hopefully more readers will relax and just read it - one doesn't have to be a student of obscure 16th century poetry to enjoy a rollicking good tale. If one insists, however, there is always Dunnett's The Lymond Poetry, for explanations and references, which she published to accompany the Lymond Chronicles.

Certainly a Sword & Sorcery sort of group might be a good idea, but it is something I would hesitate to set-up myself as I have no idea how often I would be able to contribute. Though I would think military sci-fi probably should be a separate category. Thanks for stopping by.

I have given my Black Company books to a local library, but am still a fan. However, I think that perhaps a LibraryThing Group for either Military Fantasy Fiction, Military Science Fiction, or even just the Black Company needs to be set up by someone with the books! What do you think?
