About meI'm an extremely avid reader---probably averaging a book a day from the age of 5. I read a wide variety of books---mostly these days non-fiction, but as a child mostly fiction, and my love for those books of my childhood is very strong! I have 3 children--and I wish they read more. It's a struggle in today's wired world to make reading a priority for them, but my 10 year old recently told me he loves to read now, and I cried with happiness for one of the first times in my life! My 13 year old reads pretty much just one author---John Bellairs--but at least he's one of my favorites! My 3 year old is a good listener when she isn't trying hard to turn the pages fast or to find a crayon to write on the pages! My husband reads very little---he was burnt out by lots of forced reading in high school and college---one reason I am not a fan of MAKING kids read! Life without books for me would be, quite simply, unbearable. I am a top 1000 reviewer on Amazon (once was in the top 100 but 3 kids got in the way of that!)

About my libraryI am probably not using this site as it is meant to be used, as my library list is actually a list of books I love---not necessarily books I own. Due to a small living space, I focus on owning books for my children, not myself, but I use the library constantly! But I've read every book on my list, some many times, and I love to look at other lists!

I was just looking at your review of While Mrs. Coverlet was Away and realized that the review actually seems to be for the book Mrs. Coverlet's Magicians, which is the sequel.
Thanks for your nice comment! I love Conford and Cresswell, too. And Bellairs, especially with all the wonderful Gorey covers.... :D
