re: Chantal Mouffe's Return of the Political -- you'd probably also like Ernesto Laclau. I finished his book Emancipations not too long ago, and am now reading Ranciere's On the Shore of Politics (all these are from the Verso Radical Thinkers series).
Hi, thanks for the comment. Per my 'vampire' books, that was some stuff I read a while ago, and still keep them around and catalogue them because I still think the phenomenom of 'vampires' is an interesting one concerning the topic of (im)mortality. After Anne Rice I had much more fun with the likes of H.P. Lovecraft, but haven't done much reading in that genre since (and especially since I've started my masters in theology and have been reading theology, philosophy, and biblical studies stuff which takes up most of my time). I took a gander at your vampire collection, but most of the ones you've starred are given mediocre ratings. Which stuff would you recommend?

I've also been interested in Zombie/undead movies, especially George Romero's works. Speaking of, have you heard of the Undead and Philosophy volume?

By the way, it was really fun to see the books we share!

Peace,

Eric
Nice to see another theological blogger on LibraryThing! That's quite a collection you've got, so I guess our long list of overlaps isn't too surprising.
Hello there, thanks for mentioning Keith Warrington. I've corresponded with him briefly in the past. He's published a few articles on James 5:17-18 as well. He's one of the only folks to do a detailed study of it (the other one is an Italian Jesuit named Claudio Bottini). Thanks again, Jim
I must say, having looked through your catalogue now and tagged all the books we share, a lot of them are really, really, really CRAP books I suspect we bought in our charismatic days. ;)
