About meMy whole life revolves around my boys: On the left Cocoa Puff, who is 6, and on the right Blake Dylan, who is almost 2. We are convinced both dogs are half cat/half monkey/half sharks. They are both very evil.

By some cruel joke I'm almost 30 and unemployed.

I'm a part-time nerd//all consuming headbanging audiophile//trip over my own feet dork//follow my own rules fashionista//crazed Potterhead//oblivious gamer//bible stomping atheist//raging spendrift... a quasi writer, avid reader, epicurean, vegetarian, couchside animal rights (non)activist, I'm a sometimes artist, dog lover, over the moon, starry-eyed romantic, but just mostly psychotic misanthrope.... nothing brings me more joy than helping others, partying with good friends, chardonnay, girly but potent cocktails, or cloistering myself in my room for days, reading a phenomenal novel while listening to something fab from my growing vinyl collection...... I got a bad case of potty mouth, and I suffer from constant foot in mouth.

I am NOT nice, but go on, show me some love!

Can you dig it?

I came to tell you about Kristin Cashore's Fire but I see it's on your recent activity so you must already know! I just finished it last night. I think I like Graceling a little better mostly because Po is intoxicating. But Fire was excellent and I definitely enjoyed it.

I hope all is well! Have a lovely day!
Sorry, title is Another Faust. I sent before I checked. :oP
Do tell! Is it bigger than a bread box?
Is it a bread box? I knew it! :o)

You know, Sierra has been watching the Beatles movies lately. Help! and Yellow Submarine. So much so, I'm starting to think in Beatle. It might be a problem. I'm getting more random than usual.

We need to figure out how to get together before you leave. I'm hoping to take Marina to Mamaroneck tomorrow. The authors of Faust Again are going to read excerpts from their book at the Voracious Reader. Want a copy?
Hiya suge!
Good to see some posts from you! I hope everything is going better. When do you run off to warmer climes?

Take care, love!
It was labor day weekend!!! You posted that you were going to the beach!!!!! I am innocent, I tell you!!!!!!

Seriously, I was really sad that you weren't in town. I'll have to come up again some other time when you are in town. Maybe if we do regional get-togethers for the seventh HP movie, I will go to the New York one this time.

I think most of the people who post a lot on HE right now are ones you know, so don't let that stop you from posting when you get a chance. We miss you! :-)
Suge loves Eric p~ Too bad he's mine.
That's because of my collection of funny hats. I plan to leave them to the Guggenheim when i go.

Hey, Donna's been reading vampire books lately - you know those sookie stackhouse kinda things? Feel free to give her any recommendations, you might be better at it than me ;)
Hi Suge! I hope things are going ok. We miss you. Are you ready for your trip? Have you been watching PR? Now that it isn't on until 10 I have to wait for On Demand to watch it. I miss discussing it with you. That was the best. Have a great visit and Edward and I will be here when you get back!

Compski
Hey, suge. Everyone misses you! Drop a post or line to know you're still alive? ;) I hope everyone's okay, and that things calm and look up for you soon! I'm sorry if things are crudy.
SUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's up? Haven't seen you around lately. We miss you on HE!
where are you, dude? We miss you at HE!
Check out the Percy Jackson #2 trailer -- it's better than the first one.
Just letting you know I finally remembered to put your book in the mail! It's on the way! :)
YAY BREWFEST!!
Currently there are still brewfest tickets, but if you're going to get them you should do it quickly. They don't sell at the door and they sold out last year...
cheater cheater!!
Now if someone could just get mine!
as soon as i read the second clue i knew it
Especially the Holden Caufield line. I was like duh King Dork!
Then I felt really really smart
So i think i should win double bonus fabulous points for knowing King Dork

Just saying ;-)
LOL Thanks Suge!
Hey! Just wanted to say I had lots of fun hanging out with you. I know I'm a huge nerd but you kindly put up with me anyway. The Titanic thing would have been awesome but dinner was lovely and the movie was fun. I'm forever corrupted by the fruity drinks but tasty is tasty. Thanks for putting up with me for so long! :)
Okay, so I just got my tix for the brewfest and I wanted to give you the info. Brewfest is Sat. 10/10 this year. Mandy and Don will be coming, so if you come you can probably snag a ride with them. Here's the link to the site, you can read up on it and buy tix if you want: http://www.kennettbrewfest.com/

If you do decide to come, you can crash with me of course. We'll probably go over to my parents' that morning to grab some lunch and then last year our dad drove us over and picked us up after (to avoid drinking and driving of course). We would then probably spend a good portion of the evening over there while I sobered up enough to drive back to my place.

It will sell out eventually, so if you decide to come, get your tix ASAP!

Later gator!
Sorry to be so jaded about The Lightning Thief trailer. You see Percy, and there's some spooky music as he hops on the elevator. Then you see ... a matte painting of Olympus. The end. With everything that happens in the book -- and the pretty impressive cast selections -- you'd think they could find something a bit more ... tantalizing (pun intended, although now I think Tantalus appeared in Sea of Monsters).
Yep! Thank you. I'm taking five classes. They're mostly dry subjects, but it'll be awesome to have classes again. I can't wait!

Nope, not a bad thing at all. Bana will be fantastic! Why isn't it playing yet?!

I can't believe someone stole your book! How mad, and maddening! I don't know a thing about the book but almost laughed when I read the title. Only weird, huh?

What is going on with Borders Bucks? Have Borders been giving it to you like crazy? I've gotten it four times now this summer and swear I've hardly bought much. I thought it was just in July that you only have to spend $50 to get it.
been a while since we talked. so i am in the chatroom now
LOL. Glad you've found yourself now :)

I'm about to start Demigod Files, as I didn't read it before Last Olympian. Hope it's better than the Lightning Thief trailer!
So cannot wait! I loved that book! I wasn't really sure if I should reread before it's out are not. Do you think you're going to? I'm going back to school next month and am not liking that I'll have less reading time just after this movie comes out if I wait to reread the book until after seeing it.

My fingers are so crossed things come out well for it. It's always harder when they mess up books you really love in the movies. Not so incredibly for the Harry Potter ones, but I can somehow put that aside. Maybe because there are so many of those movies?

You know, I was talking about this movie to LG's LTer friend I met last weekend. She brought up the point that Bana is too - hmm - muscular? - for the part of Henry. I knew he was that way in the movie 'Troy' but couldn't really complain - Bana looks nice, right? I was happy he got the part. Anyhow, I don't think it will be on anyone's minds. Plus, he's not scrawny as Henry might be, but he seemed okay in the trailer, build-wise.
My pleasure! Especially after reading the movie thread, I'm glad you were there to detest it as much as I did!
Thanks. I was so worried for a while. Going through new bosses and having an extra counter because of our stupid and much-hated extra exit means we have to work three times as hard as the other locations, but things are looking up. I hope that stubborn cough clears up soon!
We forgot about the cheesecake, don't worry Don and I will take care of it for you ;)
You're welcome. I'm just glad you texted. How scary. I am so relieved you're alright! I think I read somewhere that you're still trying to get better or kick the last of it. Take care. Good health wishes are still going your way.
yes...:D
Hey sugey!
I think you would really like Heart-Shaped Box. It's pretty dark, quasi-bloody, the ghost in it was really creepy (to me at least), and I also found it to be a really interesting story. I didn't know until after I finished it that Joe Hill is Stephen King's son - there are some similarities to their writing, but Hill manages a pretty unique voice - and I notice King is on your favorites list so that's another reason you should check it out. I borrowed the copy I read from my mom otherwise I'd offer to send it your way.

Hope you have a fantabulous time with the HogX meet-up! I'm sure it will be an absolute blast!!
:)
If you want you are more than welcome to stay at my place with me and bib. We're seeing I think an afternoon showing of the movie on Saturday the 25th. Then out to a dinner where we can all sit around and discuss what we loved and or hated about the movie. Let me know if you want to stay with me.

See you next week!
Yep, the plan is still on for the 25th. I don't know any of the particulars though, Mandy's the ringleader on this one. My big plans are to get in a car Friday afternoon and drive up and then drive back down on Sunday!

Probably we should get Mandy to tell us what the plans are sometime soon...

:)
Hi Gorgeous!
Just read your posting on the HE "what are you reading in July" thread, and realsied that I'd forgotten to tell you something...
I went into one of the charity shops we visited during your stay to look for the UK children's HP editiotions... Well, they flippin' well had the whole set in there! You want me to go back this week to see if HBP is there? i know it won't get to you in time for the movie release, but at least you'd have a copy...

Mwah!
x
Aww, poor suge. Did you have THE flu? I know it has been making the rounds in our area.

The boy has not been hugged or kissed and he appreciates your understanding about that. ;o)

It is good to have you back among the living. Unless, of course, you are a zombie.

Peace and Laughter!
Hi Suge! I'm glad to see you are back among the living! 38 days to Project Runway!
I was wondering why you've been so quiet lately suge! Tell a person if you are sick!
Unless...

You haven't been making a million calls to me from an 800 service number, have you? Because I don't answer those. :o)

Get well soon!

Love,
JP and cat
Hi, suge! I haven't seen you on LT much. It's probably work, but just checking if you're okay. Hope everything's going well and that you are out somewhere having a great 4th of July weekend!
Lol, I know, the effort of putting everything in can be quite overwhelming... especially if its books in a heavy box two floors down from your room! Eventually you'll get them... you could take them to work and do it :D

That's probably a smart decision, lol. The collections has been migrating my books for me, so I'm having quite a hassle so if you ever do use it... join a little later! I like it, it's sooo much easier to track the books I want and have read, which I've really wanted to do. And yea, I agree, it makes me want to buy all the books but I'm broke so that solves that issue! :D

Enjoying your weather? We've been nice and cool and rainy so far and I'm loving it!
OH Suge, you make me laugh. I'll swing by the station on my way home from work. Hopefully I'll be there about 5:30ish.

SEE YOU SOON!

also hint if you leave Jersey you're on the wrong train...so hopefully Florida won't be an issue ;)
the 5:20 train requires a transfer the 5:45 train does not. FYI
Suge, I never hear from you anymore!!! lol *whines* How are you doing? I see that you've been adding a lot of DVDs lately! How do you like the collections so far? Now you can create collections just for your DVDs and CDs!! lol

How's everyone and everything?
Suge, We are up to the proposal on the Pride and Prejudice quote. I just thought you would want to know and wouldn't want to miss it. In such cases as these I believe the established mode is to express a sense of obligation.
Oh, good! What do you think of what Pam says on page 307? At this point they were in the van driving away and Eric had just said someone lives on in Bill. I've been trying to figure it out the meaning behind what Pam said. Is Eric...? Ah!

41 isn't bad. The year isn't half way quite yet. You're six books ahead of me. I've only read 35. I think I read eleven books last month, but for a while my reading had been slow. Charlaine Harris's books are the reason for the rise in books last month. My 20 y/o sister pushed me to read book one and she's a little upset now that I'm one book ahead of her. Still haven't seen the tv show. Has season two started yet?
Suge! Have you read Dead and Gone yet? Btw, how's your books read for the year going so far?
I hope you are having a great trip!
I just remembered about giving you the link for The Peak 107.1
Here it is:
http://www.1071thepeak.com/

I'm not sure, you may have to download something to listen online. You should do the Peak Listener Advisory too. They give lots of tickets to concerts and special events.

Cristina
OoooOOOOoo...The Rubik's cube thingy is neat.

Hey there sweetie, thanks for coming by yesterday. Sorry about the kids. They get a bit...competitive for attention. :o) Imagine if they combined forces. The world might explode.

I hope you enjoy your cookies and your trip! Bon voyage, mi amiga!

~Cristina
Bwahahaha! I am sorry for your work today. There won't be much getting done. *ducks* Well, there will surely be HEGs on the plane. There were plenty of NYers on the plane from CA to NY. That's what made the trip coming home seem funny - I was on my way home with a bunch of tourists. ;)

A five hour flight isn't too bad. I do hope you can sleep on the plane with all those HEGs. It sounds like you will need it what with landing 6am London time. Well, don't forget your make up so you will look nice for all those HEGs for first impressions. First impressions are very important. Just ask Elizabeth or Mr. Darcy. Okay, I wasn't being stupid. That was a play on P&P's original title. So lame, I know.

Stop thinking of disasters. All will be well and excellent. I wish you the best of luck and the most exciting time! Give LadyN a real hug for me.
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE...

Don't be ashamed about the tourist book thing. Every Londoner owns an A-Z, and at least one guide book I reckon.

SO. EXCITED!!!

On Tuesday evening I have to have a meeting thing with my comedy group, which you are welcome to come along to of course, but which I understand is not the most appealing notion. It won't go on late though, so obviously we'll be going to the pub before the night is out.

Apart from that I have every day from Friday through Wednesday to be at your disposal. I have to work 10-6 next Thurs and Fri, but you'll be glad of the break from me by then. Ha!

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE...
Dahling, the only thing we're excited about is seeing you! Mwah!!

Glad you're amused by the tootsie roll thing :-) I was asking my friend Matt what he thought I should get you to bring, and brought up tootsie rolls, and he had no idea what I was talking about, so that's what clinched it! Ha ha ha!

Yeah, sorry about that whole exchange rate thing... Still, it's more in your favour at the moment than it was. Not so long ago you'd have only come out of that with £225, so there is a bright side!

We will spend it wisely. Don't forget that "Primarni" is marvellous value. Ooh I can't wait! I hope you have a list of places you want to go and things you want to see, otherwise you'll have to put up with being dragged around to all sorts of things you have absolutely no interest in. Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!!

YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
Well maybe that means you need some you time! Cu doing stuff that's pointless is fun! You missed movie night Saturday, Spanglish. That movie is weird man. I heard your going to London, maybe? Oh, and someone is going to give you a hug for me... I don't remember the name lol
Between you and me, I've never seen Annie turn down anything alcoholic. I'm sure they don't expect you to bring them anything (just as I don't), but it's very sweet of you. Ghaz is allergic to vodka, so don't bring her any of that!

Every time I see Annie she asks when you're coming! Ghaz remembered from the first time I told her, so she doesn't need to ask! She's on holiday untl Saturday, but is really looking forward tos eeing you as well. EEK!!

Things brits love from the U.S.... I guess tootsie rolls are a bit of a novelty as we don't have them here, and we kind of wonder what they are! (I have tried them once, so that would be cool!)

Really, don't concern yourself with gifts - having you here will be gift enough!

xx
HURRAH!! My cleaning will not have been in vain!
Panic not my friend, it's all under control.

I'm sorting out your oyster card - I have a spare one, so don't worry about that.
They do ake a lot of sense, so they're worth having. I'll explain moore when I give it to you, as where I live it's a bit weird witht them, but it'll all become clear!

Anything else I can do to calm you?

x
There, there, that's better isn't it?

Now for goodness' sake, what is there to panic about? I'll be there for you when you get to this end, so all you've got to do is manage not to fall out of the plane.

AND DON'T YOU DARE CANCEL YOUR FLIGHT! I cleaned my kitchen before work this morning.

Mwah!
xx
PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER WOMAN!!!!
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!... You will be here in a matter of DAYS!! DAYS, suge, DAYS!!

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA...

*generic excited dancing*

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE...
You don't get on very much do you?? lol :P How are you?
Ha ha ha!! Close! It's Marmite. I have a good jar's worth. I know how much you like it, so maybe I'd better get more in... ;-)
Right. I'll stock up on the vodka then...
Ooh, I keep forgetting to ask - What sort of food do you like/hate/suffer allergic reactions to? I want to make sure the cupboards contain suge-friendly grub!

xx
. . . aaaaaaand it's another comment from me, but I just finished reading The Luxe and wondered if you'd read it yet? It seems like something you'd really like, and I don't see it in your library yet, so I thought I'd ask. I really enjoyed it (read the whole tome in one evening) so if you have read it, discuss, discuss!

~foggi
suge! I haven't see you posting lately, but Kerian said she talked to you. We should do that some time -- I am really bad at talking on the phone (isn't that weird? It's true, though: I get all tongue-tied and run out of things to say), but I would attempt to get over it, if you would promise not to hold my telephone-ineptness against me. ;-) Is your computer still giving you trouble when you try to post? We miss you around HE!

~foggi
I think people should be more open to ideas like that because it's not like we're asking them to put up categories for music and stuff like that. Like I said, movies are literature in video form! Were they jerks to you on the forum?

Lol, that would be great to bowl with you! Yea, All the bowling alleys we have contain bars, so I know what you mean! But bowling alleys are expensive so I don't know if i would buy alcohol from my alley lol. I actually bowled today and last weekend... saturday and sunday was our states tournament for leagues... in grand rapids. I did pretty well, so I'm happy about that.

Lol, well maybe you should organize or something?!!! I try to organize things a little, at least to ensure that its been added to my library and dated for when I got it etc... I'd help ya with the books if I could, but unfortunately, New York is kinda far away. If I ever visit a campus in Pennsylvania or NY I'll look you up lol!

I never really did tags but I started to just cu I thought maybe it would help... other people... but whatever. I just put it in when I put the book in or after I read it. It's amazingly easy. However, I did have about 200 books that I had to do book by book because I had hardly put any tags on anything. Yea, I don't review much... only when I feel the book deserves it or it REALLY sucked. I actually won a book from the member giveaway, so I'm going to have to get into reviewing!

Lol, you deserve nice things, silly girl. I don't find it necessary to put down my friends usually. :) Enjoy work!

BTW, the dog is dead, unfortunately. Her name is Daisy and she was the best and very sweet... I miss her a LOT!
Gosh, that sounds complicated. They should definitely add that option because I would love to be able to maunally add movies, because aren't they too a form of literature? The greatest movies were adapted from novels and movies are really just books without the words. I think they should look into that, cuz that's a lot of work! We hae a ton.

I haven't been doing too much... I joined the bowling team for the year so that kept me pretty busy and all my homework I did when I wasn;t at my boyfriends house, which is a lot. In fact, I just got back about 30 minutes ago, lol. But I'm trying to get on more now, especially since I've been putting ALL of my books in... the ones that I havent looked at in years because they sit in totes in my basement so they can be preserved, lol. And I've added over 150 and I have two more totes left to go trhough. It's always so exciting to add all my books. The most infuriating part is the tags... they take me eons to do. My next project after all my books are in and the tags are done is to work on reviews... but I kinda don't like writing them because I think I sound dumb and I really don't want to summarize the novel... it already is! lol

Yes, I read Wicked Lovely, and I love the trilogy. Sequels are always kinda iffy, but I ride them out and go for the story. I can't wait to read it... I'm working on maybe 5 series and tons of individual novels. I just started City of Bones so I can read City of Glass, I heard it's a good even though the author's accredation is questionable. I still need to a read a Sweet Far Thing, Inkdeath, So You Want to Be a Wizard #8, and Brisingr!

Did you read Inkspell? that one was interesting. Inkdeath was a breeze for me. I struggle with Twilight if I'm not in a good reading mood cuz I don't think it's a good series, but it's so simple that it's easy to go through.

I found someone that shared a bunch of ooks with me, Rubbah, she seems cool and she has a ton of books, especially manga! I think she's going on 1,000 books, and she's cool. I thought she had children though cuz she was saying she was putting in her "chidren's books" and I didn't realize she was 18 untiljust 5 minutes ago. Wow, I'm dumb!

Sorry I typed so much, lol I miss talking to you and we have to catch up! Gosh, I miss you so much... I read your about me and gosh you're just so amazing and sweet. I wish I could party with you. It always seems that I find the best friends in places where I can't reach them. How's the Potter gang?
Oh, how do you add DVDs?
Hey Suge, it's Cue... I haven't been on in a long time, I know! So how have you been? Have you read Fragile Eternity and Inkdeath yet? Are they good?
Why freaking out lady pie?? It's gonna be FABULOUS!!!

I got a Tiffany necklace and charm, Ghaz got a bracelet I think, though not a charm one...can't remember what mad Annie got...

Oh I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
Dude, we should have seen this over the summer! ;)

Well, I got an e-mail from Borders about the Twilight dvd today. Part of me was hoping they were sincerely kidding when they said it would be April before I get my copy (you know, since I paid for it already) but they were serious. *shakes her first at Borders*

Anyhow...you said it was only a week away last night! And then I find out...it's Friday at midnight. That's not like you to have a release date like that wrong!

Oh, I so want to reread The Time Traveler's Wife now! I'm pretty sure I put Henry on my literary crush list. They're making the book into a movie, did I tell you? I'll wait till you finish reading before saying anything about it. I need not say happy reading.
Did you ever read Mr. Darcy's Daughters? I've been wondering about the rest of the series and know you at least have the first book.

Ahh, you've added Hunted!
You're welcome. I wasn't sure if you'd read about it or not. My copy's on the way. I ordered from Amazon. How exciting!

How far have you gotten in Fragile Eternity?
Hi Suge! I finished watching season two of PR last night. I really liked Daniel's stuff and I can't believe he didn't win. Cloe's line was ok, but some of her pieces really reminded me of 80's prom dresses. Trust me, I know, I was there!

I guess season 6 has filmed and is in the can ready to go, but everyone is suing everyone. I wish they could get it together!
JONAS JONAS JONAS.... DONT FORGET THAT NAME, GRICEL!!!
LOL! Wow, that thing is scary!
Ahh, you are lucky then! Glad that is going to work out alright. I don't see what the big deal is about pre-ordering for shipment vs. pick up in person at a bookstore. They still think I have to wait till April when I pre-ordered to have mine shipped. It's so stupid. I already paid for it!

One major difference between the bookstores near where each of us live is that there is an incredible amount more of things where you are, not simply for being larger bookstores, but that they really use their storage space. You know the shelves up high above their regular shelving? Those were full in the bookstores you took me to. Out here, they're empty! Genius CA bookstores, huh?

Well, I am happy you can have your non-bootleg on time. I bet you will be their first customer of the day, and with good reason! They need to award you an employee discount. :)
Yey for Inkheart! (Sorry, but I love that book. :)

Yes. Disgusting, isn't it? They just slip that in there and don't give warning. All of a sudden you make your way to preorder thinking, Haha, I beat them this time! And then you find that oh, no, they beat you!

Yes, Bootleg curse. That really makes me think of the Pirates movies for some reason. Bootleg Bill. That's probably why. Well, you could always get the movie somewhere else...but no one will have Borders' edition. :( So that's why I decided to go ahead and preorder late to get the movie in April. I did hear that Hot Topic has something they're giving out free with Twilight dvds. No idea what, though. I can find out on Sunday if I remember to ask my co-worker.

Guess what, guess what? I just got back from shopping. I bought the coolest cardigan. It's longer in the front and wraps around you and then buttons in the back. It's grey. (I know, no color.) I did get a mauve top and purple skinny jeans, though. And another top and a regular pair of skinny jeans, light blue. (Love dark denim, but it screams fall and winter to me.) Ha. Tease my wardrobe now. And sorry if this is very dull. I'm home alone and there is no one to tell about my exciting shopping trip. :(

Hope you have a great weekend full of zzzs all Saturday morning, and erm, afternoon.
Hi, suge. Did you preorder your Twilight DVD yet? Borders' website says people need to have preordered by February 4th in order to get it at the time of release. Otherwise, you have to wait till sometime in April to receive it. I just found out so I'm getting mine in April.
I agree that BSG has really started to suck ass. So disappointing! I'm still going to watch it til the bitter end, and I hope they pull out of this nosedive, but jeeze, it sucks right now.

I miss Gaeta.

btw, this week is about Starbuck & Tyrol, so maybe it'll be a bit better. Please, spare me the As the Toaster Turns bs.

We have a BSG group here on lt: http://www.librarything.com/groups/battl...
and they all seem to agree.
Grief, that figures I would be the person to miss that.

KIK. I don't need to ask about the sigh. I know which book that was for. ;) Is this your first time reading Huck Finn or is it a reread? I still very much want to reread Inkheart. That stupid movie! Or not stupid, but I'm a little mad about it. The theaters aren't playing it here anymore and I missed the chance to see it. There wasn't a date set for the dvd as of last week. How do you like the book so far?

I'm reading a book called Ophelia that's not Shakespeare's play Ophelia but is based on Hamlet. It's one of those twisted tales. I love them! Btw, I'm glad you enjoyed The Book of Lost Things. I just read it last month. The other book I'm reading right now but am bad at getting into is The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane. It's my read-at-home book and I kind of spent the last couple of days watching movies instead.

I had a Jane Austen movie marathon as best as one could with a mere three movies based on her books. I just bought "Persuasion" on dvd! Otherwise I have S&S and two P&P movies. (No Colin Firth version yet.)

Is that the same friend who lost their job? I'm sorry about that! It really sucks. Berta lost hers, too. Hope you guys have a good time and that she's able to find work soon.
I am laughing out loud, but I am trying to cover it with a napkin!

Excellent, excellent!
Which books are you reading now?

And OMG, did you see the music players?? They changed! They look so weird now. I'm not sure if I like it.
Okay. You're welcome. Yes, it's a good series. I'm glad I started reading it and have you to thank for that. I didn't read any of your copies of the series but they tempted me and I started reading them once I got back to CA. I love that the books are published so quickly! I'm used to authors taking a year per book.

Oh, yes! That is the last of the elevators I stick a foot or arm in when the doors are closing. I am done. Finished. I think I'll avoid pretzels for a while because of it. They're downstairs. I'll have to just stick to the food court and my beloved smoothies. Not that I'm complaining. Smoothies are my weakness. The escalators will be my friends instead. You know what, though? Those things love to shock me. It happened four times last week in one day. Ridiculous!

Have you read Fragile Eternity? I've wondered if it would be strongly part of book one or two or if it's just as distant as the first two were to each other.
Thanks. *hugs back* KIK! And my tears were of fright. It's okay. I can laugh about it today.

I don't know about stopping a train door - I wouldn't want to do that. But the elevator doors are supposed to bounce back open when you do that.

Do you want to borrow the ARC I've been trying to tell you about?
Good..um, afternoon. (I just got up. :)

Silly suge! Scan down your profile. I wrote you a private message on Feb 18. I do have an ARC of Hunted. If I hadn't have been busy working and hiding from relatives I would have called to tell you when I could tell you missed the message. ;) Point, though: I have a copy from someone we both know and love, it's signed by the author to me, and I asked you! If you wanted to borrow it so you can read it. Yay or nay?

I'm so upset. Some elevator doors had my foot and arm clenched in them yesterday. I was beating up those doors and cursing so much and did those doors want to free me? I'll tell you it was the elevator from hell. You know all those movies where people get stuck in them and the elevator begins lifting up or down to another floor? Didn't happen. But was so my fear yesterday once I realized it wasn't going to let me go. I couldn't believe it. I don't know who to go to about it. If it had been a small kid between the doors instead of me just think what could have happened. I'm only bruised and have bumps on my arm but the mall could have been in big trouble were it a kid.

How was your weekend?
Just so you know, I noticed the acquaintance quote on the HEG thread!
Hi, suge.

Put past you...? I think I missed something. Second thought...Did you read the private comment, missy?

Hope you have a good weekend and maybe see Confessions of a Shopaholic. Mine's gone to h e double ladders. (Okay, poor optimism.) I'm having visitors. No likie!
Heehee. Pal? Oi, I bet I have made you nervous about the book. I mean, who would give a book that's not out yet a mere 4 stars and not 5, right? Heeheehee. ;)

Hopefully you are reading your comments as I type. :)
KIK. Your inner shopaholic self cannot refuse to see it. ;)

What happened about fashion school?? I remember you had applied?
Ah! The second book title makes me wonder if they were combining books! I hate it when they do that!

Do you think you're going to skip seeing the movie or do you still want to see it?
Heehee. WHO?

I haven't read the book. The book character Rebecca is supposed to be English?? That is a good question! New York! I would never have guessed it wasn't supposed to take place there. As someone who has only seen the movie and not read the book, it seemed like the perfect location to me. It has thee big city, where everything happens. It would be interesting to see it take place in England after seeing the movie. I want to hunt for the book now.

First book...Are you telling me it's a series? How many of the books have you read? I'm sorry this movie is ruining what was otherwise a good book for you. I bet you had really loved it, too, am I right?

I've never read any sort of shopaholic book, but after seeing the movie, I could hear voices of other people in the theater: "I'm a shopaholic about this" or "I'm a shopaholic about that." It made me think about what I spend too much money on, which is mainly stuff from work and books.
It just came out Friday, right? I saw it on Monday. I wanted to talk about it with you but I'll keep my mouth shut so no spoilers. Er...You've read the book, though? Nevermind. Movies and books. I've no idea if or how they're different.

Why the hell would people hate you? What is this about?
You kidding? I ALWAYS have time for silly americans!

I live in south east London, between Blackheath (lovely) and Lewisham (not so lovely). It's a 20 min train journey to Charing Cross, which is basically Covent Garden and the West End on your doorstep. Everything easily commutable.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
Hi, Suge. Did you see Confessions of a Shopaholic yet?
Just checked in to say...

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE...

That's all.

xx
You're welcome. It was all true. I hope they find him a home, too. Not a puppy....did they give you an age estimate? It's always hard to let animals go that you help. We'd have a million pets if we could. I'm so proud that you've decided to go volunteer for animals!

I just ran out my door this morning because I saw a dog wandering alone. Luckily it turned out to belong next door, sort of. My neighbors were dog-sitting and it's owner had just showed up to take it home. My neighbors have a dog of their own and always open their door without putting a leash on first. I hope they never have to learn why that's bad.
You did a wonderful thing for that puppy! You took his life and turned it around into something that can be incredibly better. Now he can have a home again and with people who will love him and be kind to him as he deserves. Despite his past the puppy seemed he was doing remarkable in the matter of still being able to trust people, versus being afraid of them. This is great because it will help him get a home faster. Don't feel bad. You did the right thing. *hug*
Hey, how is everything with Turbo? Was the shelter still there?

I can't talk now 'cause I have to call work in ten minutes, but I hope everything is working out for him!
Suge if you are still around join us at the chat room they are asking for you
So did you get to read the rest of what's available of His Book? And I've just realized you're not on my friends list, so I'm sending a request! Which, of course, you are free to refuse!
Thanks. They're violets.

Ah! I'm going to guess it must be a chilling book. Have you seen the movie yet, or maybe planning to after you finish the book? I haven't read that many scary books but Bag of Bones might be the scariest. I'm not sure if it's a movie.

It can be so irritating not being able to find covers. I try to find them for books in my library that are coverless but some cases are just hopeless.

How many books have you read so far this year? I'm sure you're past three.
Hey!!! Im good. Are YOU?
Sounds like a good thread post idea!
The Madness continues:

At our staff meeting this morning someone brought up having shelves in cupboards. I almost said to the person next to me "Shelves in the closet. Happy thought indeed!" I wish you were there!

Oh, and the answer to your last comment "Miss Elizabeth Bennet's" but I still think it should have been "Not yours!"
Watch your mailbox. . . .

*mysterious smile*
Capital, Suge, capital!
I see we share the same religious views. :) Whats up?
Sorry. Wrong person. Oh yeah my name is sooo cocoa.
lol. Either. Whats up?
MWAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I get back here
And everyone's there
Everyone except my suge

WHERE ARE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Agh, I'm hurt really
PS let me know what you think of Oscar Wao. My cousin recommended it.
I Sugeypants! I miss you! I rented Project Runway Season 1 and just saw the last episode last night. That Wendy was nasty, but everyone really gave it right back at her! There were some really uncomfortable scenes, but it was fun! I knew Jay was going to win (he is in the opening credits) but I was still surprised it wasn't Kara. There were two skirts of Jay's I really liked, but I wasn't so sure about the rest. Thank goodness Wendy didn't win. I don't think I could have standed how smug she would have been. I wish Austin would have made it to the finals. He would have been fun! Stay warm and don't fly to Charlotte anytime soon!
Me and your dog have the same name!!!!!
Hey, suge. I hope you're doing alright. I got a book that made me think of you. Sometime last year you asked me what the name of a book was that my co-worker who works for Scholastic was reading an ARC of. I didn't know what it was at the time. I just found out online and thought I'd tell you. It's called The Tree Shepherd's Daughter by Gillian Summers. I think I had managed to read the back cover to you before my co-worker had swiped it to lock up. Anyways, it was a book you had seemed like you wanted to read. People always switch what they want to read based on moods etc (duh, right?) but look it up somewhere if you want 'cause maybe you might still be interested in reading it. Gorgeous cover, btw. There's a child's face wrapped in autumn colors and leaves all around her. Hope you get a three day weekend!
I have a good friend from Costa Rica who is also dark complected, and his family called him El Negro. It really must suck when you get it from within your own family.

but hey, if we can elect a black President, anything is possible.
i totally understood the diaz book because it was well-written. I liked the parts about Trujillo the best, actually. The stuff in America was less interesting to me.

it was cool to learn about your country. Americans are so ignorant.
:o)

Whatever you want to do! Just let me know.
LOL! Don't worry, we have your card, and I would be happy to hold it for you or mail it to you, whichever you prefer!
Making sense is overrated anyway. I knew you'd be the right person to talk to. ;)

And YES -- there is more!! It's on stepheniemeyer.com, click on "Twilight Series" and then "Midnight Sun." There's a link there for just the first chapter or the whole part that she had done before the other idiot ruined everything. But I warn you: I sat down to read just a little of it, and spent the next 3 hours reading the whole thing. I couldn't stop. And I kept getting more and more jittery, realizing I was almost at the end of the writing but nowhere near the end of the story.

I'm normally so rational (which is why I've been embarrassed to admit my growing obsession), but your message has helped me decide that enjoying Twilight doesn't have to be rational. In fact, it probably shouldn't be.

I hope you get time for Midnight Sun soon! It's really wonderful. I like it better than Bella's version.
Wow. There goes my faith in bookstore websites. They had the release date wrong. Hope it was good.
I'm writing to you because you will understand best. I was pretty sure you've read Midnight Sun, though if I'm wrong, you'll still understand best. This probably seems a bit random, but bear with me anyway if you please. :)

I had been resisting, but -- like Edward -- I wasn't strong enough to stay away, and read what is available of Midnight Sun. It stops just one chapter short of my favorite chapter in Twilight (when Edward & Bella are in the meadow). It's exhilarating to read but maddening to reach the end! Why did it have to get ruined for all of us!? :(

Mostly I just wanted to scream I LOVE TWILIGHT!!! to someone who won't smirk or laugh. You were my number one candidate. See, I've been telling myself and everyone else that I only kind of liked it before. Now I've given up. I pretty much saturated myself in Twilight this weekend, having seen the movie at last, reread Twilight, and now read Midnight Sun. All in the same weekend. And it was glorious. But at the same time, I'm still a bit ashamed of how much I like it, yet unable to pull myself away or like it less.

Thanks for listening as I indulged the 14-year-old within me. I just had to tell someone who would have a complete understanding of the power of The Book. :)
Hi sugeypants!! Just came here to wish you a Happy New Year and may your new year be full of love, blessings and books for you and your loved ones!!!
I think that's very sensible. If someone shoots you, the car will stop the bullet. Happens all the time.

My "mad skills" in the wrapping arena are limited to my mad skill in choosing a wife. of course, i have other skills... nunchuck skills...

I think Quincember is the month of the quince harvest. Sorry that you missed that competition on the 15th of September (see? 15th of September, so 15/9. Perfectly logical. I don't know why you colonials started going around saying "September 15". I mean, come on - it would even make more sense to say "2008 September 15". Did you do it to confuse the redcoats?).
You're welcome! And of course i had help with the selection and packing. Just a teeny tiny widdle bit. And i did have to steal some of the candles. Shhhh.

But that's not an Aston Marton, i couldn't get one of those. It's a Holden Commodore HSV (Holden Special Vehicle), the chosen car of rev-heads in Oz. Less class, more ass. Enjoy!
KIK. Not for lack of reading, though. ;) How far are you in the book you were reading last night?
wow I love the music you have on here Led Z and The King Rock on :)
Do do you think it is from me because it smells?
Suge I'm not your secret santa?
Tee hee! A girl after my own heart. I lost out on a £300 phone refund when they over-charged me because I put off making the 2 phone calls that I needed to make to sort it out for too long. I kept that really quiet though because my super-organised husband would, seriously, NEVER do something like that! Now I feel less bad....
I just bought the tickets. I wanted to be sure we could get in. We are all set to see Twilight! Saturday at 4pm!
Thanks! Really, I'm just a huge procrastinator and while I should be writing my thesis, I make pretty bars on my profile page that I fill with colour and use to convince myself I'm doing something worthwhile ... even if it's not what I should be doing! I'm glad someone else reads far too many books at once, I don't remember the last time I was only reading one.

My picture's a fruitfly I made that glows under UV light - I like to think I did it by magic (well, OK, so maybe it's science ... but I prefer magic!) ;)

Claire
Suge, thanks for that profile picture - I embiggened and it made my day! Yum! And it's been a day of exploding computers so it needed to be made ;)
HAHA, I just read Compski's message. We are long lost Bennett Triplets and therefore the coolest people in the WORLD.

Anyway, about Saturday. I'm thinking either a 4pm showing or a 7 pm showing. My co-worker and I are leaning to the 4pm showing so we can all go out to dinner after. Do you think you can get here by 3pm?

Cheers!
Okay, I just heard from Mandy that she told you to come to Joi-zee and we'd all go together. She's going to pay for me to get up there and my movie, so I'll see you next week! WooHoo!
I love it when you post from your phone! Sorry about your makeup! The HEGs will still love you ;) Of course I got the Kitty Bennett quote. You, Mandy, and I are the long lost Bennett Triplets! I hope you have fun tonight and try to to kill your cell phone!
also...Pepper says HI!
Suge? Suge who? Who are you and why are you leaving me comments on my profile? ;) Just kidding! I am very happy to hear from you. Sorry about your computer and jury duty, but I am glad it wasn't anything life altering keeping you away. Unless, that life altering thing was a HEG or something. I posted on the Good News, Bad News thread that you were still alive and that you said hello to everyone. Poor Bib thought she drove you away or something! All my love to the shark-monkeys!

Compski
OK - I'm just not sure how to respond to you Suge, but first of all please tell me I put the warning stickers in with the package?

Mr A. says if you want to send us something he would be happy to receive a monkey shark. Mr A is happy you liked the package, he is the one who boxed and posted it, he is just sorry that he had run out of packing tape so he wasn't able to secure it as well as he would have liked (like Kerian's package). If you need any advice on making the candles up let me know:-).

Now I'm off to the rant thread to tell my tale about my supplier.
Suge, Where have you been? I hope everything is okay. I miss you! Did you ever catch the final of PR? I would have like to have seen Korto win, but Leanne's line was good. I am not sure what Kenley was thinking! I love your new profile pictures, but I miss the shark-monkeys! I hope they haven't locked you in a closet or anything :)
Thanks for the cheesecake! I hear I can expect you at any time ;). See you soon then!
Me-ow! Yes, it was definately the cattiest show I have ever watched. Also, watching it with you is so much more fun than on my own!
Sugey! I am sorry you are so near death :( Maybe watching Kenley getting kicked out on to her whiney a** will revive you! I will be in chat at least by the runway if not before. I hope you can make it work :)
BOO!!!!!!!
BOO!!!!!!!
Even if LT's membership cost 5 times what it does and even if you were the only person I met, it would still be worth it :) You crack me up! "I have some HEGs...calling my name." "I have food poisoning or the black plague."

I turned my heat on last night and was programming the times. I was going to have it turn off at 9:00, but then I realized I would be too cold during PR! I set it for later, but this morning I almost started crying :( when I realized there was only one more night! What will we do?

I hope you are feeling better or at least find a cure for the black plague!
You behaved and it was still a lot of fun! I still can't believe Suede got the boot and not Kenley. His wasn't very exciting, but she was way off the mark!

It worked out great you had to go. I was bailing, too. I have to be up at 5:45 and I really like my sleep.

A PR viewing party would be so great! Is there only one more night and then the three left go home to design for a few months? When is the reunion show? I guess it will be awhile before Tim goes out to visit the finalists.

Have fun tonight with Grey's! I am going to try to get to bed and make up the time I lost last night.

Gregor says hi to the monkeysharks!
On your best behavior? What would be the fun in that? :)
Suge, I am glad you like I Capture the Castle. I thought it was great, too. It had been a while since I had read the book, but I thought the movie was well done. Enjoy!

I will try to be on for Project Runway tonight, if you can make it, at least for the runway part. If you can't make it tonight, maybe next week. There can't be too many left! What will I do?
Long time no speak. How are you?

Darn you, ahead on the Heir series! I wanted to talk to you about The Wizard Heir. I was dying to talk to someone about the book the whole time I was reading it. Those are such amazingly good books! As soon as Linda picked Seph up from school, I briefly wondered...and then later by the time he was staying at Jack's, I was convinced Linda was Seph's mother. That was so cool for parentless Seph. (What an odd name he goes by, huh?) Did you guess the same? Can't wait to read book three!

I'm really enjoying the House of Night series. I thought Stevie Rae would 'die' during the series but I never imagined she would become a vamp the way she did after Zoey and co fixed her in book three. And Aphrodite turning human! I did not see that coming. Loren's an asshole, Zoey was right. Poor Z, huh? I guess that would tick off her friends about Stevie Rae not being dead. So do you think her step loser is the killer, or just the people of faith in general? So sad about Erik. I think Zoey should be with him.

Must run to get ready for work. Hope everything is good with you.
I am glad your ankle is better and you are done with the brace. Luckily my dad wasn't home when I hurt mine, otherwise he would have had it wrapped so tight I would have lost circulation. Besides, I wanted to wear my cute flats to school. They don't go well with an ace bandage :)

As far as Gregor helping me, I am surprised he didn't take the opportunity to bolt for freedom. Sometimes I think he leads me over holes on purpose. Every so often he cuts right in front of me, but I keep thwarting his plans to kill me :) But really he is a very nice dog. I can't take credit since I didn't get him until he was six. Good luck with the sharkmonkeys! Gregor sends good wishes to Blakie. We both hope he is feeling better.
Sugey! How is your ankle? Were you walking the MonkeySharks? Did they trip you in the house? I twisted mine on Saturday walking my dog. Did he go and get help a la Lassie? No. Did a handsome guy ride up to help a la Sense and Sensibility? No. Oh well. I kept it elevated and iced for the first 24 hours and it feels pretty good now. I supposed taking advils as if they were M&Ms didn't hurt either. How is your ankle? I hope you don't need crutches. Did you have (or get) to stay home from work?

Hallo' at yo boy and get well soon!
Any time you forget your book you can write to me. I love it! Luckily my classroom doors are closed or people would be stopping to see if I am okay, I am cracking up so hard.

You are very brave to swim in the ocean. Lake Michigan freaks me out, but that may be because I was bit by a crayfish once. Of course, they are not as damaging as sharks. I doubt Discovery will ever have a crayfish week!

Good luck on your communte home!
Suge, You have a Shark Week DVD?!? No wonder you didn't know how to swim! How could you even go in the water after that! I am very proud of you, teaching yourself how to swim.
Hey suge!

How's it going? Have you read the book Austenland by Shannon Hale? It's about a girl from New York who's obsessed with Mr. Darcy as played by Colin Firth in the A&E Pride and Prejudice. For some reason it made me think of you.... ;) Hee hee - it is a really cute book though. If you find yourself in the mood for a sweet / sappy / Chick Lit / beach read you should check it out!

el :)
That sucks! I hope the problem's fixed. What do they keep doing that to you? I don't get what their issue is.

Yes, I love winter clothes. I can't wait till I can finally wear my boots. They still need the right kind of jeans to wear with them. Must go shopping.
Hey beatiful lady!!!
I've missed soooooooooooooooooooooooo much around here, I feel like I'm never gonna catch up!!
Anyway, just thought I'd send you some love since it's been ages....

Gonna catch up on threads for a bit, so warn everyone that even though they can't see me, it doesn't mean I'm not here!

Big hugs,
Nai
xx
Hey suge!
How ya doing? Was BD worth the wait for you? So glad you didn't die. ;)
The discussion thread is totally taunting me!!!! I'm so tempted to peek but I'm only 2/3rds done and I really don't want spoilers! Hope you're having fun!
el :)
I missed you last night. It was a good show and Tim was hilarious. I hated the dress that won! I couldn't wait for them to start trashing it, and then they complimented it! Keith's flyaway dress should have lost. The ruffles were bad, but his was worse! Anyway, I am pretty sure I can make it next week. We will try to watch together. That is always the most fun!

Have fun with Breaking Dawn! I think I am waiting for the library version. No spoilers! :)
Hey Suge! I am going to try to be in chat tonight during PR if you can make it. I was going to do it last week, but I had a lot going on. I did eventually catch the show.
Hi suge! I hadn't seen you in a few days, so I thought I'd drop you a comment and say hello. Are you excited about Breaking Dawn, or what? Nah, August 2nd is probably just another humdrum day for you, right? ;-) I wish I could meet you somewhere for the release party, but I had to put new tires on my car, which wiped out my budget for a few weeks. I'll be thinking of you, though!

~foggi
hey suge.
i totally agree with what u habe said about Mean Girls and Stay Alive in your reviews......
QS: r u fan of Joss whedon?:-)
love the pic...cute and artistic!!!
hehe,what are their names?
Just dropping in to say Hey.
so....HEY SUGE!!!;-) how r u and everything else? Lots Of Hugs...
xx Peace xx
Absolutely! I'll give you a shout when I 'm around.
SUUUUUUUGGGGGGEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(I was excited to see your message.)

Good to hear from you! Good luck in the thread-reading department -- they do tend to pile up, don't they? ;-) Hope you and Kerian are having a great time!
Hi Suge and K! I hope you are both still having a great time in NY! I was just telling my husband today how proud I am of K for going and how glad I am she had a friend like you to inspire her to get there!
Hi suge!!!
Hope you're having a fab time hanging out with K! Wishing you gals plenty of sunshine and fun times! Let me know if/when you read Hurt Go Happy - I was pretty impressed by it and would love to hear someone else's opinions! Have fun!!
el :)
That's not actually my dog. It's just a cute picture I found somewhere.
Those dogs are laying on a table. How catlike. :o)

Hi suge sweetie! All excited getting ready for K's visit? See you soon!

Cristina
Adorable puppies!!!
Awwww! Cute puppies! I want! (One of my own, I mean; don't want to take your babies away from you.) AND you get a visit from K.

*goes back to own profile, seething with jealousy*
Thanks for the comments for the kids, suge. The kids will love them. I get to start showing them tomorrow. I can't wait.

I also can't wait for New York! I am trying to not count the days, but I leave two weeks from tomorrow! I hope it doesn't rain that Saturday, but we will have fun even if it does. I can't wait!

See you soon!
Dana Compski
i can't believe that you are not on my friends list.

*shakes head*

what am i, chopped liver?
sugey-pants, honey, I hope you are not mad at me just because I didn't like your favourite book. You know I love you, right?

I miss you guys. Work is still crazy, I probably wont' be around much still for a few weeks.
Of course! Yankee Staduim, baby!

I'm sorry I had that computer trouble there towards the end. At least we got K to file her taxes. I wouldn't want her to get in trouble like her mom.

Bambers!
thanks suge.
I am happy, but Ive been really emotional lately and easily upset and I dont like it :( I dont have the possessive problem on either side, thankfully, lol. Well, I spose you'll get a boyfriend when the partying runs down, haha, itsno very fun to be single in a small town when you cant do anything.

You totally needed one, im sure, lol What kind? whats your favorite type of shoe?

Spring break is a rediculous amount of time off of school in which it lasts so long you become unproductive and forget everything that you learned and become lazy, haha. This week has been sooo boring, I think being at home 3 days in a row has been the reason why im emotional, lol

You get vacation tho, right? Go to hawaii or something, hmmm? hmmm? yessss. lol

Hows the HXpress been?
I have a shirt with the logo and the phrase on it.
Haha, I obsess over one pair so much that I dont even bother to get more shoes unless Im going to want to wear them. Itd be easier if my mom would let me get whatever shoes I want but oh well. I love flat, skater shoes, theyre just heavenly! lol You might have a problem with shoes my friend!

Hehe, he moved here in 4th grade from Florida and Ive known him for about 3 years and he is simply amazing, I must say. Out of all the relationships Ive had, this is the best and the most real. You'd love him. he's a sweetheart, lol, and an ass! You can chill with the chicks and a guy, your life wont become completely absorbed by a guy, unless you get crazy obsessed of course!

This is an awesome spring break! And next week Im finally gonna (hopefully!) get a job! It all works out!

How've you been in the week I havent been on, lol
Shannie-boy, where did that come from?
Oh, the apartment you describe sounds heavenly . . . especially after the scary dives I saw today. :-( Good luck with your upcoming move, though!
Glad you like the sculpture. Cat made it for me for Christmas!

Peace and Laughter,
Cristina
some bambiliciousness for you, girlfriend.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jb7395kBU...
Haha, shoes. I obsessively wear the same shoe I dont know why, I could live off of 3 pairs, haha!

Things are going awesome, I'm happy. I have a boyfriend now and a social life and tons of books! I have to pay because I have over 200 books now, which is awesome!

How have things been here? I havent been on in forever, I never get online anymore. Did you hear that Borders bought one of Rowling's handwritten the Beetle and the Bard? Its pretty cool. I'm just spazzing out about books lately.

No, I think your list is awesome but some of your songs dont work which make me mad cuz theyre great songs!!!

Re: my measurements about the pizza: I know you were being silly, and I thought it was funny. I was shocked to see a pizza image bigger than my screen, too (I laughed hard enough when I saw your first comment about it that my coworkers checked to see that I was all right), but sometimes, as in that case, my attempted humor is *too* deadpan. (I assume their image is of an XL pizza, in which case on my monitor it's almost but not quite life sized. Anything smaller than XL, and the image is larger than life sized. Which raises the question, why even have a pizza pic that big in the first place? There are many, many levels of funny to that pizza pic.)
