hello swanbreast. i send this note simply because yours is the most beautiful name on LT. fear not. as one of the son's of toil buried under tons of soil. i merely want to suggest a book: alone to the alone (venus and the voters is the american title). i never fail to proselytize when it comes to old gwyn thomas.

Good afternoon, swanbreast, and thank you so much for your comments
about my library. I've been on the move so many books are still
in boxes. LT was a life saver as I can still 'see' all of my library.

I used to belong to Livejournal but never kept it up. I see that you belong
to the Livejournal group and assume you have a page?
I do; however, write daily in my own 'old fashioned' notebook.

Seems that we have quite a few books in common as well as the Viragos and Persephones.
It's been great fun getting to know the others in both groups.

I'm adding your library to my 'interesting' list and look forward to browsing through
your collection!!

Have a great weekend and hope to talk with you more!

Hi Swanbreast, I noticed that you and I are the only 2 librarythingers to have John Ruskin: A Life in Pictures. Isn't it a strange and wonderful book!

Hello there. If you like Wilde and Wodehouse might I suggest you try Stephen Fry out. The Hippopotamus will be a good start.
Kind Regards

WOW! I thought I was doing well with my 200-odd collection! :)
