About me I'm a librarian which probably explains my large and obsessively ordered library.

About my library My librarything includes only books that I own. The books listed here are the ones currently on shelves or in stacks around my living space, not the ones from my childhood boxed up in the garage. If I actually dug those out there would be a rather large number of Babysitter's Club, etc.

I am somewhat embarrassed by the sheer number of books that I own that I have never read. I tend to buy books when they fit a mood and often that mood fades before I read them.

It is horribly hard for me to get rid of books so even if I haven't read a book or don't like it much it is likely to stay in my collection for a very long time. I also tend to buy most of the books I read despite being a librarian so my collection is growing quickly.

I have a lot of fantasy that I have been collecting since elementary school.

I studied young adult literature in Library School so I also have a fair amount of YA books.

I have been a history buff since elementary school and majored in History as an undergrad so I have a lot of history books.
