About meI am a Child and Youth Worker and I’m currently studying Early Childhood Education. I’m engaged to the most lovely girl in the world, who shares my love of books. I don’t think we’d be compatible if we didn’t. Sadly, I tend to buy books, and don’t get to read as many as I’d like to… I do get quite a few read over the course of a year, mind you. I have a vast love of books, and an ever-growing collection.

I’m in charge of Scholastic books at the daycare that I work in. This means my library jumps in size monthly, as I always find good children’s books that I end up buying. I get at least a few books a month, usually more like a dozen. :P

About my libraryThe most prominent author in my collection is Neil Gaiman, as you’ll notice. I tend to collect books I enjoy, and have a penchant for buying hardcover books over softcovers. I have a large collection of picture books for use in my classroom at work as well. I have a bit of everything from Classics, right through to Science Fiction and Fantasy novels. My favourite authors include: Neil Gaiman, Connie Willis, Roald Dahl, Tom Robbins, Christopher Moore, and Douglas Adams.

Hi, I had a question and was hoping you could help. I'm trying to figure out which book would best suit me right now. I'm looking for one that focuses primarily on the "Magick" uses of herbs...and one that lists many and has lots of information. I've come down to two books. Compendium of Herbal Magick by Paul Paul Beyerl and The Master Book of Herbalism by him as well. I see you have both, so I was curious which you would suggest, given the specifics I'm looking for.

Thank you!
Joe.
Noticed you liked Fight Club, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a disturbed bunch of kids and a bit dark :) I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:
