Hi Again
I never did receive your lists. I actually may have and inadvertently deleted them. I signed up for a Freecycle account and got slammed with hundreds of emails and sifted thru them but deleted a lot so may have deleted your email by mistake. But I am interested in lists of books for reading groups! My email is: clamatotomato@yahoo.ca
Thanks a bunch!
PS: I just love LibraryThing and when it went down last week, I was in a spin!
Hi again Tam
I looked at the Pleasant Grove site and it is so helpful! Some excellent choices. Some I am not familiar with and will investigate. Yes, I would love it if you could send me some lists. My email is: clamatotomato@yahoo.ca . I can send you my book group list so far too if you like. Our 3rd anniversary was in March. I try for a good mix. My big challenge is finding a good memoir or biography for the fall that has ample copies available in the local library system. Grrr! It's so time consuming but it is a labour of love.
Cheers from Canada,
Clamato :)
Hi Tam
I saw your comments to Tim earlier about being picked to review books for Random House. I was too. I also run a book group in a public library and am currently under deadline to choose all my books for next fall. Being a library, I have to pick older, not so much in demand books. Can be very frustrating hunting. Can you tell me if I can access any lists you might have at your library? Some past choices, current or future?
Anyhow thanks a bunch. I hope you get a review copy from Random soon!
