About meI am a fiction writer who divides her time between New York City and the North Fork of Long Island. The only think I enjoy as much as writing is reading.
About my libraryI wish I could catalog everything I've read but there isn't enough time so I'm taking a best of approach. These are the books that have stayed with me over the years.

I was at Barnes & Noble this weekend and glanced up and there was "The Last Bridge" in the new releases! I was so excited! :-)

Thank you so much for your response! I was fortunate enough to have read On Writing by Stephen King in college...it was awesome. Thank you for your suggestion of Bird by Bird! I will definitely read it! It is so true about getting side tracked with writing...it seems like everything else takes priority at times, but I am feeling a new motivation so THANK YOU! :)
Also, thanks for your compliments on our wedding photo...it was my favorite day so far. :)
Keep writing, and I will certainly keep reading!

I am also a writer who would love some advice or even suggestions on good writing books, or books that may have helped you develop as a writer. I welcome any and all advice! I have only had one poem published so far, but I would love to pursue short stories/fiction as well.
Thanks!
Nikol :)

I finished 'The Last Bridge' a few days ago and just had to write and tell you even though it was horrible, it was very good. I did not want to put it down. This was a book where I really cared about the main character and hoped there would be some happiness for her before the book ended. I know it's supposed to be a work of fiction, but your writing made it seem all too real.
