About meHi there! My name's Channing; I'm a student at university, studying economics and linguistics. I also work full-time at Half Price Books. I LOVE my job. I'm engaged to a wonderful Aussie named Chris with whom I am sharing this account (all things tagged Chris are his).
In addition, I'm an avid Libertarian and a proud Texan.
About my libraryI have a small economy-sized apartment that is overflowing with books, organized by genres and alphabetized within. I have seven large cases and two smaller cases designated for paperbacks. My collection is ever-expanding, however... which may be troublesome in the future.
I'm definitely a fiction-reader, but also quite interested in cookbooks, economics, politics (Libertarianism in particular), language, religion, history, and humor (among others). Really, I just love books. There's something about them...
I wish to one day own a large house... not for show, not really for want of ownership... but for a gigantic, beautiful library. Well... also so I can barbecue, grill and have dogs. (but mostly the library) ;)
