About meHello, Greetings from the Quartet. We are here to enrich your LT experience. When books and music collide, magic happens. So, let us begin the show. Act 1 is about to start...

The Theoretician- I play the piano, and in my spare time I enjoy the art in mathematics, as well as computer programming and html. I call my self the theoretician because I enjoy music theory, as well as highly appreciating the mathematics behind it.

Haughty Percussionist- Violette gave this nickname because I am an unashamed fan of "my" instrument, the piano. (Apparently she feels the need to deride it by lumping it with the drums and such. Despite that, I've grown to like the nickname.) Some of my varied interests include politics, history, economics, and a pinch of theology. If I'm not reading a book or playing the piano, I'll probably be found writing a piece of political satire on the issue of the day. That's who I am.

Note Carver- I too play the piano. I enjoy spending my days fishing and collecting endless arrays of knives while listening to bluegrass and country music, as well as classical works. Though I have a nearly complete lack of singing ability, I continue to belt out songs in the shower and around my house at the top of my lungs, mainly because I get joy from A) pretending to be talented and B) driving my family insane. Watercolor and acrylic painting (haven't yet gotten much into oil) and drawing are a major part o my life. I also love reading, writing, theatrical music (Les Miserables, anyone?), and outdoor target practice.

Violette- Titles are so stiff sounding... Violin is an undying passion, among a sea of arrogant obsessed percussionists... Do not be fooled, I fully recognize the beauty of the piano, along with the axiom that "there is one than one note in a sonata". Oh well. I think deeply, (attempt to) express the seemingly unexplainable through poetry, treasure reading, sailing, drawing and crafting, cooking, and viewing fine arts. I try to remember to*cough cough* not take myself too seriously, although I often forget :)
