About meMy name is Kyle, I really like comics, and art, and movies (I have a degree in making them), toys, drawing, mopeds, and a whole bunch of other things. I am hoping to one day start my own very small publishing company and move out of my mom's house.

About my libraryI read a lot of comics, how-to books.

I have to agree that Jim Woodring's wordless creations are his most powerful stuff by far. I recently got hold of a copy of the "Visions of Frank" DVD that Woodring sells on his website. It's a collection of animated shorts by various Japanese creators, all using the Frank comics as their inspiration and starting point. Each piece is set to music, but with there is no dialog at all. Absolutely great stuff!
Glad to see someone out there likes Jason's stuff as much as I do! I only discovered his work a few months ago but I've been obsessed with it ever since. You might also like Jim Woodring's stuff if you haven't already checked it out - his "Frank" comics are a dreamlike variation on some of Jason's own themes.
