About meA magpie type of collector/book addict; I'm not very systematic. "Oooh, shiny!" is all the reason I need to bring another book (or DVD or CD, for that matter) home.
About my libraryCataloging a bit at a time in a pretty random way. Began with what had accreted around the desk and, that done, I moved outward.

Yes, I should be doing something other than flitting around LibraryThing seeing which usernames I recognise ...

Let's see, so far we share:
Under the Black Flag (surprise, right? though now that I think about it I haven't loaded it in as yet)
Brewer's Dictionary of phrase and fable
Far Side of the World (though I have s different edition, and it's not uploaded. oops.)
Elements of style (not uploaded, but somewhere around here)
Benet's readers Encyclopedia
One thing I noticed about my collection is that I have damn little fiction in there. I feel kind odd about that, but the truth is I choose a reference book or cultural study book over fiction any day. I am such an info junkie.
