Thanks for your note. Sorry I did not reply earlier. I left NLCS in 1973, went to Homerton Cambridge, became a teacher and then Head teacher! School has had quite an influence on me one way or another. You sound as though you are being well supported by bronte reading! Trust finals are going as smoothly as possible. I too love library thing as not only do I enjoy sorting out my books but I am also interested in why people read which books etc. At first I tried to catalogue the books that are or have been really important or formative to me. Now I am just trying to get them into the library! Take care and enjoy your studies.

Did you enjoy Gormenghast? I read it years ago and absolutely loved it; I think I'll pick it up again at some point soon. Don't you think his characters are fabulous?
