About meMy name is Sean, and I'm currently a senior in high school. I've always loved reading, though I read a lot less during my first three years of high school. Over the past six months or so, I've begun to read a lot more again, and I couldn't be happier. At the moment, I'm in a Vonnegut phase, though I'm open to all authors (love Salinger to Faulkner to O'Connor to maybe even you). I primarily check out books from the library, and I use a Facebook application called Visual Bookshelf to keep tabs on what books I've completed. Here, though, I've only listed the books I own and refuse to leave my house (though some, admittedly, are not among my favorites, while others that I love I do not own).

In addition to fiction, I love reading histories and biographies. Outside of text, I love film and television, and I've occasionally read about both. I've gravitated away from them in recent years, though I do still love a good film (Eternal Sunshine being my favorite) and a good television show (Arrested Development and 30 Rock - how I love thee!). I also have some interest in writing, though it drives me mad much of the time. I also like people - some of the time, anyway.

About my libraryAgain, I tend to use the library. I don't own many books which I absolutely love. Generally, I only buy books that I know I'll need to annotate or which I have trouble tracking down at the library.

Noticed you liked The Sound and the Fury, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also southern, a bit violent, and a bit dark :) I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter)in case you'd like to read more about the novel before you commit:
