About meI have always loved to read, as has my husband, and browsing through bookstores that sell either new or used books is one of our favorite activities to do together. Our six children are all avid readers, and we're expecting that our three year old grandson will follow suit, since both of his parents are readers. I also enjoy people, games, the outdoors, and imagine I would love book clubs; the closest I've gotten to being in one was when I was part of a discussion/study group on one of my favorite topics -- John Paul II's teachings.

Hello! I saw your comment on SaintSunniva's profile and wanted to make contact. I'm a Catholic, and God blessed my husband and me with three lovely children (all more or less grown now). I homeschooled my kids for 13 years -- then I graduated. ;) Did you ever go to the Michigan Catholic Home Educators conferences? They were the high point of my year for a number of years. In fact I still try to plan to attend (although without success the last couple of years) because of the fabulous bookstalls.
