About meI'm a teacher so I kind of read for a living. But for fun, I delight in anything by Dickens. I'm reading through all of his major works and have two more to finish the task. I've loved David Copperfield, of course, and Barnaby Rudge as well as Domby and Son. Though I've enjoyed everything by Dickens, I was less than excited by Great Expectations.

About my libraryMy favorite authors are: Tozer, Havner, Dickens, Dostoevsky, Hugo, Meurer, Lewis.

It sounds like a cliche, but my favorite book is the Bible. It comforts, encourages, strengthens, corrects, teaches, moves me, and makes me better.

Just read Chesterton on Pickwick Papers. He's brilliant! And I agree, Dickens was a great man. I wonder what Dickens meant naming Weller and Pickwick, Sam/Samuel? Maybe to juxtapose their understanding of the world more starkly?

Yes, but two others (in addition to us) have Daze of Our Wives. But you haven't entered Dr. Beal's book on evolution in your catalog, yet... Right now I'm the only owner!
