About mepretty normal, hopefully never boring :P, have opinions and not afraid to share them, have eclectic taste in all that is art... and yeah, I love books, movies, good music, good food, hard laughing and most of all good people :)

About my libraryNot as vast as it used to be but growing due to a very good friend .. bi-lingual in English and Romanian although for years I am favoring the English lit... But there are great Romanian authors and great european ones who deserve respect
and a read as well :)

You are nOT invisible to me.. I have just gotten so lost in life .. and trying to keep up with it, I have fallen back on keeping up with threads.
I will mend my ways and find you WE invisibles need to support each other!
Thanks for the comment in Paul's thread, I was beginning to feel a bit overwhelmed ! lol

That's Jeff's thread for Foto Friday.
Excellent! That was very kind of you! i need to buy more sour cream and jam so I'll try these over the weekend. Yeast is not my best friend but I'm not afraid to try. I will post a photo of my masterpiece when I bake them. Thanks again
Sorry, I do not know one word of Romanian, oh wait my mom used to say her dad liked mamalega ?, that's all I know but I think if you post it in Romanian I can use the computer program to translate. We can try that but if it's easy to change the recipe to English that would be great.

Thanks, Lynda
Hi tigerlyly! I just saw your Romanian nut crescents on Paul's thread. I'm a 1/4 Romanian but I've no recipes past down to me which are truly Romanian. The crescents look familiar and I'd like to make them, do you have a recipe for them?

Thanks, Lynda
Hi Liliana, my thread is here:
I meant to come tell you that I found a kindle copy of "Roumanian Stories" which includes a story by Caragiale. However I don't think the translation is very good, perhaps done by computer, because the sentences don't always flow well or sound quite right. So I am still looking for a good translation! Thank you again for the list of authors. I will be sure to let you know when I find a copy that works well. :)
I love your pictures. Makes me want to visit Romania.

We have what we call Charlotte's Web spiders here in North Carolina. Their webs are so beautiful..... but *shudder*.... I just stay away from them.
Hi again - redbuds are gorgeous, aren't they? That one was planted about 13 years ago and is so beautiful now.

Raw and vulnerable are good words for the Swedish movies and Lisbeth Salander. If you ever get the chance, the books, as always, are better than the movies. I liked both in this case. I wish you a happy Sunday too.

Hi tigerlyly - saw your comment on RichardDerus's thread about Stieg Larsson's books and loved them, and watched the Swedish adaptations and loved them to. Sometimes subtitled movies are just the best. The Daniel Craig version was not good, IMO.

Your library's looking good!
So great to see you on my thread!! xoxox
found you!
