About meI'm a 21 year old senior (graduating December 2009!) at UVM studying anthropology, religion, and history. In all honesty, I would rather stay in and read than go out partying on weekends. My favorite types of books are fiction that involves religion and/or history and fantasy, but I'll go outside my comfort zone if a book looks interesting enough. Next fall (2010) I'm hoping to be a grad student in an MLS program, probably somewhere on the east coast. In the meantime I'll be interning at a library in New Mexico.
About my libraryYou'll notice that I don't own many of the books I've read. I actually used to own most of them, but sold them or gave them away due to storage issues. I also work at a library, so I can read a book before I buy it. I could have done so before, obviously, but I used to hate reading library books because of how dirty or torn up they usually are. Thankfully, I got over it. I now only buy books I really like - my mother told me she could have funded my college education with the amount of money she spent on books. As a poor college student, I've tried not to spend so much on books I may only read once.

Let me see...I went to Ireland in March '06 (on St. Patrick's Day, no less) and just traveled our way across the lower half. Started from Shannon airport, drove to Newgrange in County Meath, then slowly worked back to Shannon over the course of the week. Stops included Kilkenny, Galway, Cork, and a long drive around the southwest coast (absolutely beautiful near the coast!). It's been so long that I can't remember the exact names of places I saw. I do remember the almost complete lack of street signs in some areas, particularly in the eastern portion of Ireland. Got lost quite a few times trying to find the bed and breakfast!

Hope you're enjoying Ireland. I feel in love with the country when I visited a few years ago and have been itching to get back ever since. Enjoy it while you can and have a safe travel back.
