About my libraryMy main interests are British literature, science fiction, horror and supernatural fiction, and history. Some long-term plans for additions to my collection: bios of every U.S. President; histories of every major country; more seventies pseudoscience/New Age/UFO books; even more Victorian literature, especially of second and third-tier authors; and more folklore, world mythology and cultural anthropology works.

Greetings from SE N.C. I just noticed your name in my weighted list, and behold! We have somewhat similar tastes, libraries of about the same size, and the NC connection. I also see that the other comments are all from last year or earlier, so you may not frequent this place anymore. Oh well. It's always lovely to run into a literate Tar Heel.

We share 28 books (so far). Poul Anderson is one of my favorite sci-f- authors. I don't read as much sci-fi as I used to..it's gotten to be two heavily weighted toward fantasy rather than science.
My pleasure. After I had added enough books to be meaningful I picked a few libraries to watch based on the number of common books we had. Then I can watch the recent additions from those of you that I have added and get some good ideas for my wishlist. I have seen several from you recently. This is great idea. Its a new way to find too many books to buy :)
Hi tredegartrafalgar(Thank goodness for cut and paste.),
I am just getting into the LT thingy and I noticed that a lot of my books were lining up with yours. Reading your "About" in your profile I see why. I am going to add you as an interesting library so I won't forget where you are. Nice Library.
Oh, it is nice to see another LTer add Anthony Powell as a favorite author!
Was Altered Carbon a great read or what? Amanda Salmonson has a great web site, I think it is called Violet Books. Google Salmonson and it comes up. Reading Avram Davidson Treasury now. I don't know how I let him slip past me all these years. Happy Holidays.
Nice taste in SF & Fantasy! Gosh, do we know each other? Your SF & Fantasy collection resembles ours...so nice to see the Lanagan in there! I'm sure we will have many more in common should I get around to entering the whole damn houseful! Reading the forthcoming Mieville now, [Un Lun Dun] delightful and entertaining, a departure from his Bas Lag stuff. Hubby just finished [Glasshouse] and I've given him the forthcoming Stan Robinson to read... What are you reading now?
