About meBlessings everyone! My name is Amanda, but you can call me Mandy, Spanky, Manda, etc... I'm a Graphic Designer/Production Artist/Web Designer/Flash Animator. However, I'm also a Bellydancer, currently learning Raqs Sharqi at Sahara Dance in Washington, DC, but I'm a tribal fusion dancer at heart, so I'm also taking classes at Saffron Dance.

I love everything Renaissance related, including the Maryland Renn Faire. I'm a sucker for metalheads...ie. my boyfriend Wayne of 5 years. Being Native American (Yakima and others), I thoroughly enjoy going to powwows and devouring fry bread. I love all kinds of music including metal, new age, celtic, pagan rock, native american, powwow drumming, big band, swing, jazz and I hate everything about emo and country.

My aspirations are simple, go back to school and get my BS in Environmental Sciences and Geology with minors in Biology, Archaeology, and Environmental Chemistry. I want to help our blessed Gaia from the hell we as humans have put her through. As my roommate would say, I'm very granola. I'm a tree-hugger eco-nut at heart, but far from vegetarian.

About my libraryOh where to begin...my collection is fairly simple. I I have one bookcase solely for my witchcraft/paganism studies. I have another bookcase for my graphic design and photography books. My third bookcase is reserved for fiction. Once those fill up, I don't know what I'll do!

Some of the authors that can be found include: My current favorite is Marie Brennan, but I'm also in love with Jane Auston, Charlotte Brönte, Oscar Wilde, William Shakespeare, Tamora Pierce, Edgar Alan Poe, Jeffery Eugenides, Starhawk, Edain McCoy, Scott Cunningham, James Morrow, and more that I can't remember at the moment. In regards to my love of vampire novels, you'll find Anne Rice, Charlaine Harris, Laurell K. Hamilton, and Kim Harrison.
