About meToxicologist in Massachusetts. I collect modern first editions and historical fiction. I have a small more focused collection of books on expatriots in Paris in the 1900's (Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Joyce, Pound, Stein, etc.)and I'm incorporating the impressionist painters of the same period into it. I'm also collecting modern toxicology books, books on or about poisons, venoms, drugs etc. (printed after 1900).

Altogether, I think I may have about 2000 books so it's going to take a while to scan them all in (but I have the QCat scanner so this will significantly reduce the time)

About my libraryI've been collecting books since I was about 10 years old. The first book that I bought with my own money and read from cover to cover was the Complete Cases of Sherlock Holmes

We seem to share an interest in toxicology - it has been a 50-year interest in my case - but only theoretical I hasten to add!
I just wanted to say 'hi' to the only other person with a copy of A Manual of Forensic Entomology.
